Minecraft is a great game clearly, a little flawed at times and some people downright hate the game but that's not what this topic is for. If you've seen my status comments I've mentioned going to work on my fortress on MC, let me clarify now that this is NOT just for my minecraft creations but for everyone to show off their talent.

This isnt really artwork lol so I figured gaming realm is a fine place for this to be, I also couldnt see anything else on the forums about it and I searched it but if there is then if a mod could remove this, that'd be great, otherwise leave it! haha.

Back on topic, if you've made some epic castle or underground city or just have an epic trap system then post a few screenshots or if you're really serious a video would be awesome too. We can share thoughts, ideas, give suggestions and maybe even team up on some projects etc etc.

So post away, I'm curious to see what some people have built or are constructing, may even give me a few ideas, here's my first few screenshots.

This one shows the blank space I've cleared for the above part of my fortress, the entrance to the underground city part which has been built up a bit.

This one shows my other area to the left of where the top of my fortress will be, it has a large library, quarters, showers, a blacksmith and a bank with a vault =) It's kinda small but pretty cool

Anyway hope you enjoy some of my work and if you have and suggestions for my HUGE blank open space I'm using lemme know, also post up your own screenshots or vids =)

I play on the 360. My brother plays alot on the PC version though (I can't be arsed to get into all that though)

at the moment we (and by we I mean predominantly ME) have built a skyscraper from planks- never allowed my friends to play with me on my worldafter that went sour- and a woeking redstone dam.

currently trying to build a massive mansion-one so large that anyone who enters will get lost- filled with secret passages etc

Lol my underground part right now is like that, it has paths shooting off everywhere and ones that cut into one another and then some that just end in traps, I get lost in there myself...hence I now have signs up lol

I don't really understand how to play Minecraft and playing it for extended periods seems to give me headaches, but that looks pretty neat. Java and my roommate are working on something, but it seems to mostly involve wandering around blindly in cave networks based on what I hear from the sunroom.

I'm sort of addicted to MC, mostly cause i like to create things and this is the perfect tool for that. Also today I'm going to take screenshots of everything I've done on my island and I'll post them up, I'll also explain what each thing is again, I have cannons too =) haha

I too am making a mansion, somewhat with some npc guards at the massive piston doors for the entrance.

Made mostly out of taiga logs and planks with the gates being stone, cobble and ss brick.

Might post up when it's finished if I can be bothered haha

Here's the small settlement to the side of where ma fortress is going, the first is the bottom station, second is the rails and the third is the little town, the middle building is the library, the ones on either sides are showers, on the left is the blacksmith and right is the bank.

First is the settlement gate near the prison camp, second is the wharf near the prison thing and the last is the settlement, not the best pic but that's pretty much it haha.

tnt shed in the first pic and yes I realise that keeping it surrounded by lava would not be the smartest idea but meh lol. The second and third images are pictures of the fortress, the first is an overview and the second is the entrance. The obsidian structure is my cannon tower that fires from four sides and holds two shots per side, im pretty proud of it since it fires perfectly without destroying anything in the fortress.

First is the bottom of my second station, second is a small animal farm randomly placed. The third is the well, bakery and top of the station for the fight arena. The fourth is the ticket booth that spits bits of paper out haha, so it does work sorta. Fifth is a training area for the fighter, that wooden floor moves and the chest has weps and stuff in it, wooden ones of course cause the fighters would be slaves so cant give em diamond stuffz. Sixth is the entrance up to the arena and the stands but for fighters they have a dif entrance.

Seventh is the control booth for the fight, from there the person can either be generous or not as it has two dispensers that dispence armour and weapons but also useless items like sticks and shears haha. Eighth is one of the large stands and you can see the light towers, there's stands on both sides and the final pic is the arena itself, that little caged bit with the fence things is where the fighter/s would be placed and to make sure they get out of there it has pistons that from the control booth you can make push the fighters out into the arena haha.

The first image here is the blacksmiths/enchanters, it's right near the bottom station part of the fight arena so theyd supply weps to them i guess, there's also train tracks that lead up to an old ruin near the underground base. The second and third shots are of that underground base, its still in development and it has an occult room haha, I'm weird I know but it was fun making it.

Finally done on my projects and to show I'm not perfect lol, here's some of my random test sites and whatnot I found while moving around.

My work with pistons and what not, mostly seeing how many i could use in a small area. These are used in the fortress to make bridges in the lava.

This is one of my many explosive testing places to see the effects of tnt on stuffz, now I use it a lot to clear out land faster and without blowing the crap out of everything else that I don't want ruined haha.

Lava around your prison? That is intense. No escape!

It makes me wonder whatever happened to having forum photo albums. It'd make sharing stuff like this a lot easier, haha. I suppose the hosting cost would be out the roof.

Yeah it would be easier but oh well and yeah that's the fortress lol, where prisoners are forced to man the cannon and random other crap, I clearly roleplay with MC a little, I also love my lava bridges, they're awesome but dangerous as

Well I thought I'd post some of my stuff too. I've only got towers in these pictures cause all my other stuff is quite literally foundations atm. Also, the nether tower is a WIP too, so no hating.

Well, here is one of the first buildings I made in my newest world, before I switched to creative to actually build some things.

And here is a medieval tower I had to make in survival in under 30 minutes to get into a server... !!

And here is the Brick Tower, which is the spawn building I made recently while bored (tis very blocky atm, I'm probably going to change it later)

Yet this is one of my more ambitious projects. I'm doing this to test out techniques and hopefully I'll be able to submit it and get into Mirinthia!
