Disgaea: Hour of Darkness (the story is great with great deph of characters, and some of the lines are hilarous. And i liked the idea that demon aren't completly evil.)

Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice (Same thing as the other, and a great parody for the education system).

Star Ocean Last Hope: (I havent finish yet but, the idea of space exploration to save humankind is realy appealing to me, and space adventure is good has any).

BlazBlue Calamaty Trigger: Best story in a figthing game i ever seen, and character very deep (I love Noel and Taokaka).

Final Fantasy XII: I like the political struggle in the game most of all.

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance: Boy reads book, book teleports boy to a magical world. I wish that could realy happen.

Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of The Cursed King: I loved the story, although the main was a silent protagonist, everything let to and epic adventure with great companions.

WarCraft III: good campaign with interesting characters.

Darksiders: Best setting for the War bettewn Heaven and Hell. And War is a cool character.

And the first game that pulled me to RPG genre Shining Force III- Part 1 (the only one that was release worldwide): Interesting story, 2 nation try to keep the peace but the a evil cult shows up and starts a war betwen the two, and you have to stop them. The characters were great ( at least the ones important to the story).

Final fantasy 6 (3). The story was simple enough but the characters were well played adding to the whole experience. Despite being all text it was all well written.

Final fantasy 10. In the beginning it seemed simple enough. Protagonist is sent to who knows were, due rebellious nature becomes the hero. Yet after a while the characters became better hashed out and you could really feel for the relationship developing between Yuna and Tidus. This made the ending vary bitter sweat.

Chrono trigger. It was a fun story and also one with out to many clichés. For the time it was great, it started simple leading the player along with a simple save the princess thing. Then it throws Armageddon at you and you discover theres a lot more. Floating magic cities, corrupt kings and queens, dinosaurs plus one lizard wizard makes for a great plot.

Tales of Phantasia, Tales of Legendia, and Tales of Vesperia. I like these for all the same reasons, what the Tales series is known for. Great character driven plots with some of the best landscapes.

Star Ocean 1-3. I really liked this series. The characters were usually well done and the stories were also well played. Something I liked is how the story seemed so mysterious. In final fantasy 7 you knew early on who the big bad guy was. You knew no matter what you would see him and face him it was only a matter of time. This was a cliché that most older rpgs just couldn't escape. The Star Ocean series never seemed to have this issue. Either the villains would stay hidden for most of the series or there would be some great twist that would reveal the bad guys in dramatic fashion. Heck in the third one the broke two 3rd walls, never done any were else.
