When they learn that blackbeard is stealing devil fruit powers, usopp says, "they don't need the hitohito fruit, do they?" anyone know what that would translate as? Koby Posted February 18, 2012 Report Share Posted February 18, 2012 I don't read the manga, but based on how you worded that it sounds to me like it's possible that he ate some kind of devil fruit and was worried Black Beard would come after him for his power. I wonder if this would be the case though. We have Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Sanji, Ussop, Chopper, Franky, Robin, and Brook so that's 9 crew members with 4 of them having Devil Fruit abilities as is. metaltank Posted February 19, 2012 Report Share Posted February 19, 2012 No, chopper was scared after Jimbe said that Blackbeard was stealing devil fruit powers, because he ate the Hito Hito no Mi (which is the Human Zoan type fruit, which is why chopper, a reindeer, can talk and turn into different reindeer-human hybrid forms and stuff). Basically, Ussop was just like, "why would they want the Hito Hito no Mi, they're already human".
