VolvoKing
I have a problem downloading from fileserve. The problem is when I enter the capa and it goes through its count down and it resets itself. So I do it again and again and the same thing happens. I know I am entering it right but it won't let download. Can someone please help me.
lemmingllama
Try another file and see if it works. Also it might just be a really bad internet connection
VolvoKing
I have tried other files and other forums and have the same problem
ZeroPenguins
I don't know what kind of problem you're having, but FS still works fine for me using JDownloader. Are you using a browser to download with or a download manager?
VolvoKing
I just click on a file and it takes me there, and then click on free user.
Koby
I've heard of some people having this issue but it's so few and far between that I've never been able to talk with them and go through troubleshooting the problem. I think you should make sure your browser is updated to the latest version. If that doesn't fix it, try disabling some plug-ins I have a feeling an adblocker, or scriptblocker type plug-in could be causing the site to break. If that still doesn't work, simply try another browser or contact FileServe (last resort because their employers are fucktarded idiots who never seem to know whats going on and rarely answer a question). If all else fails you could purchase a premium account or try a premium link generator (Google to find some) which should bypass the need for captcha's.*EDIT*Oh wait, do you live in the UK? Cause I remember now, a lot of popular UK internet service providers have started blocking certain shit to do with file hosts and the way they went about doing so, still allows the FS site to load, but breaks the captcha part rendering the host unusable (could be taking place in other countries too, try having someone else you know using the same service provider to try downloading). I recommended the last guy this effected to try a premium link generator and he said it worked for him.
ameanberg
He's in Canada by his profile description. The issue might just be fileserve themselves; they're notorious for screwing around with their API, causing JDownloader to crap out when trying to download as premium. VolvoKing
I am from Canada. I use Megaupload the same way and don't have any problems. But they don't have that capa box or what the hell you call it.
ameanberg
GOT IT!They've added some sort of ad to the download link, so adblock plus (If using firefox or chrome) is the problem. Disable it for fileserve and it should work now.Or just use JDownloader.
VolvoKing
Disabled it and still have the problem. I tried a different file and it took 3 tries to get it when it was enabled. The thing is I have never had this problem before even with adblocker plus on.

Bluenoser
I've had the same problem too, but usually I just retry a couple of times and it works eventually. I have noticed it only started after they started advertising a cloud computing service, I believe for Megacloud in that space, it never happened before then. I've always assumed that was the problem, because it only resets as the countdown finishes and it is supposed to bring up the start free download icon and instead resets the page to the beginning where you need to re-enter the captcha code all over again. While yes it is irksome/annoying to have to redo the process a few times it does seem to eventually work, at least it always has for me when it happens, which makes me think the problem is likely on their side not mine otherwise it would never work for me without my resetting something on my system which I have not. That's the 2 cents of a non techie on the matter.
