Alegend1994
Have you ever watched an anime and found that you can place yourself in the shoes of a certain character or that the situation reminds you of a past event.Basically does an anime character's experiences or situations resemble experiences or situations that you have had.For me the story of 5 Centimeters Per Second reminds me of a time when I was 15. Me and this girl that I liked used go to the same school, had practically the same lessons and lived on the same street so we would walk each other home. The only problem is that I really liked her but I had no idea whether she felt the same way about me so I hid the thought of telling her how I felt away. This is almost like the story between Takaki & Akari, especially since we are now also apart and I'm almost certain that I won't see her again. So there's my similarity now it's turn to share yours. ZeroPenguins
Ok my one is similar to bleach, some random girl stabbed me through the heart with a sword and ever since I got super powers. LOL just BSing and also joking. Ok on the seriously, I haven't had anything similar to any anime or I can't really think of anything right now. Will post back when I do recall something. J-Lord
Just the awkwardness of being in the wrong spot at the wrong time. You know in animes where the main character is doing nothing wrong (like walking about) and gets accused of doing something wrong. Yeah it just felt pretty anime like to me at the time, seeing as I had seen it from a 3rd person view, its weird being in that postion. I could name more but that is the highest on my list. swill48
About every two or three years, whilst growing up, my family moved to a new town. So attending a new school and meeting new people was a little challenging. There seem to be quite a few anime's that start off in this vein. There seem to be quite a few anime's that start off in this vein.Yeah I noticed that, probably because the characters can tell you about their past life without it seeming to be off topic or maybe because it allows you to understand their story more since I'm sure that all people have changed schools at some point in their life (helps give effect to the story line as well).Just the awkwardness of being in the wrong spot at the wrong time. You know in animes where the main character is doing nothing wrong (like walking about) and gets accused of doing something wrong. Yeah it just felt pretty anime like to me at the time, seeing as I had seen it from a 3rd person view, its weird being in that postion.Yep this happens to me every now and again and most of the time I don't notice it until I'm told by someone who was watching the thing play out, I'm probably too oblivious to things that happen around me though.Still it makes me feel so guilty to the person(s) I was with after not noticing what was really happening. Lilchris
Code Geass is how a lot of people in the UK actually consider the Royal Family, believe it or not.Bazinga!Deadman Wonderland in the case that I often get blamed for stuff that's blown well out of proportion? Just not on the scale in the anime XD
Alegend1994
Code Geass is how a lot of people in the UK actually consider the Royal Family, believe it or not.I'm actually about to watch this series so I can't wait to see how the anime believe the UK acts. Hopefully there are stereotypes I always like this in comedy, as long as they don't go too far.

I used to hate them most of the time but looking back now those were good memories and I kind of miss them, don't know if you feel the same?i sometimes feel bored like the characters in some showsI'm pretty sure everyone has had this experience at least one time in their life. I also do that thing that most of the characters do when they're in class where I stare out of the classroom window and block everything else out and start thinking about life based stuff, it's fun but most of the time when I snap out of it I can't remember what I was just thinking about =). Alegend1994
A whole lot of anime are relatable really.Yeah I know but I'm interested in what anime people relate themselves to, because after all there are tons of anime covering many different scenarios so I'm pretty sure that everyone can relate themselves to an anime. LOL it may sound creepy but it's not planned, just something i do from time to time. Kinda similar to anime characters always looking at the stars or out the window like you do. I've not tried staring at the sky at night, I live in a city so not so many stars to look at but when I go something for my random walks star gazing is brilliant =). zzzen
I can relate more to the character's struggles like Misaki from Maid-sama who is always running away from her real feelings. Of course I'm not perfect and the guy who confessed isn't perfect either... and I was maybe unintentionally colder to the person as well.. ^^;
