Final Fantasy XIII-3 Hmmm...

Seeking to calm rumours, Square Enix has said it registered a Final Fantasy XIII-3 domain as nothing more than a precautionary measure.

The domain was discovered by internet domain hawks a few months back, sparking rumours that Square already had plans for a third game in the 'XIII' line of FF games, before the second had even launched.

Amusing story; these rumours apparently made their way to voice actress Asuka Nishi(A voice actor in FF-XIII-2), who promptly called Square Japan's public relations agent Akio Ofuji to ask for a voice role in the new game.

But these same internet reports were also the first Ofuji heard of the game. It turns out, as Ofuji has now explained, Square Enix' American arm decided to register the domain unbeknownst to Square Japan.

As for FFXIII-3? Don't hold your breath.

I doubt it cause there is Agito aka Type-0 as well. Though these are side-stories rather than sequels. Square-Enix has became a terrible company that only thinks about making terrible games and tons of sequels to make money. They no longer try to make games worthwhile like they use to and they've given up on the RPG genre... they've even changed the Final Fantasy franchise into an entirely different thing all together.

So if someone told me they were making FF13-5 I wouldn't doubt it.

Heck Square-Enix have even talked about remaking 8 and 9 as well as making sequels for both.. so at this point I wouldn't doubt anything about them. >.>

xiii 2 doesnt have a solid ending

with 13-2 they propved the could do a good vii remake they should of made 14 the vii remake & xiv number xv. as for 13-3 they still have ffxiii-verses will that be number 3?

They said they won't remake 7 unless it took less time. Currently, they expect that it would take longer than the Gabula Nova series, so they won't do it.
