[Solved] Concerns.

Hey guys. I'm hoping you could help me with a few things.

1. My post count isn't going up. It's strange, but it seems to be locked at "6" EDIT: Now "7" (I actually have 19 posts. Not sure what the problem is here.)

2. I can't post in certain areas. I know they're not admistrative areas or anything like that, but I have well over 15 posts so I should be fine no?

3. I can't change my User CP settings or edit my Avatar.

Of course, I get this message a lot as well:

UtadaRumiko, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?

If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

And that is the message that pops up when I try to edit my avi. Is this a usual occurrence, or is their a problem with my account? Does it really have yet to be activated?

posts in the forum games thread and SeeD hallway do NOT count towards your post count nothing is wrong with your account

As Ren said, there are a couple areas (SeeD Hallway and Forum Games) that do not count for posts. The SeeD Hallway was turned off because people would simply spam 'Hello' to every thread that came before them (I've seen someone do this to 200+ threads once) and the Forum Games because it's more or less a spam board by nature (and these types of boards are usually turned off to post building because they do little for contributing discussions).

As for being unable to edit your account, those permissions come when your account gets upgraded upon meeting the required posting conditions. Reasons for doing that is it saves us the trouble of manually editing away avatars and signatures from spam-bots we ban for spam-advertising mainly.

There are a couple areas which you may not be able to post in, such as the Recommendation and Request board (because people would simply spam all the topics posting a single series for everyone, or make a request with no intention of ever reading it simply to boost their account) and the Graphics Area (because people would simply spam the Showcase with 'that looks nice' for post boosting or make requests that our Graphic Team would work hard on only to have the requestee never show back up, thus you must meet the post requirements to post there and make any future requests.
