Reptoholic
Who here is going black friday shopping ? I went to some doorbuster sales on Thanksgiving, but don't have the courage to make it out the door tomorrow(or later today). I know some people who will wait in line for hours just to get a good spot, are you one of those ? Got any good stories? If so lets hear them, and if not tell me about your thoughts on black friday shopping. Almost forgot, Happy Thanksgiving !!!
Koby
There was very little this year I wanted so I opted not to go. Last year I went and bought a laptop and such. This year I'm just going to stay home and do my shopping online.Already purchased a lot of anime and movies on blu-ray. Don't really need any new electronics as I already bought a TV earlier this year and my laptop last year.
Reptoholic
All I got was some blu-rays, dvds, and a new computer chair. Got my laptop earlier this year and already have a good tv, so there was not much for me to shop for. Blu-rays for $5 is pretty good, and make good christmas gifts. The thing I hate most about shopping on days like this is, it is so crowded and people are all smashed together.can't stand it, especially when someone lets one rip, lord have mercy, it could knock a buzzard of a manure wagon. I got a nose full last night, so to me that is the worst part about it.

rebelkid24
I went to a few places, but surprisingly, it wasn't too bad. I got an x-box 360 and a few games for my little brother. We bought a ps3 last year, so I got a few games for that as well. That's about all the shopping I did.

DragonSpirit
dont know when people will realize the stupidity behind black friday. Most the products on sale are cheap products that are probally worth less than the sale price. Those of us who work retail should know. Plus the roads are stupid dangerous. I would've gone myself, but I had to move my Florida trip early this year.
Kora
So I heard Walmart was having very good sales... so I went with a couple of friends and got in line around 10:00PM on Thursday. We waited in line for over 5 hours in the freezing cold trying to entertain ourselves in any way possible. Finally 3:30AM came along and we were able to get inside. Most of the good stuff had been taken long ago and all I walked out of there with were 2 movies. Let's just say I am never going to Walmart for black Friday ever again. VolvoKing
Like Big Teddy said it wouldn't compare to the U.S. we would probably call it pardon me Friday or something like that. I heard about how many got kill on Black Friday. You are willing to risk your life to save a few bucks. And it's suppose the start of the holiday spirit.
