I felt this thread had to be made because I see comparisons everywhere. Personally I'm a big fan of both. BF3(PC) has the large maps, vehicles, and 64-player games on it's side. MW3(console) has kill streaks, 32 player games, and well it's MW. I don't like comparing the two because they are both have very different playing styles in my opinion.

So what game are you all looking forward to killing thousands of online junkies in? or are you looking forward to both like myself?

Well honestly I'll be getting both. BF3 of course for that feeling of total war, and vehicular combat is a blast! Kamakazi plane diver!! And MW3 will get way more play overall. But I do agree with lemmingllama, not sure if I can pull myself away from Skyrim! Dragons!! :)

Defiantly BF3 more than MW3 cause BF has always been more about teamwork, while MW3 even when playing multiplayer teams its more lone wolf stuff...

Well, that usually depends on the people. I've gotten into many groups on MW2 where people lone wolf (usually myself) and many groups where people want to play as a team and actually get shit done. And that's just with randoms, once you get a nice group of friends going you can wreck house with well-oiled teamwork and such. That was the only issue I had with BF (BC2, at least) is that the teams are often too large to have a team of people you know, so the well-oiled machine is slightly less oiled and has more room for error.

And I think I've gotten into more games than not where my team isn't really a team and people just want to do their own thing. Or squads only want to hang out with the other few people in their squad and don't want to work with other squads to get objectives done.

Neither. These new generation of shooting games suck, real men go hunting for bears. Just putting that out there.

They may not be as good as some of the older ones, but I would rather play a game for an hour then attempt to hunt down a bear. Unless I get to use the same kind of guns. That would make it worth it since its hard to get most of those guns in canada.
