I can imagine the whole sexist thing is taken out of context. Something the Japanese usually have going for them is that they are not sexist. But I can see the whole repetition thing, that was a formula that DBZ made popular. As for any of these shows being repetitious you just have to figure that for shows that run this long, the conflict needs to stay alive. Other wise the show would become just to casual and boring.

I can just see it now. Luffy sails to the new world.......and then!!!!!....Nothing. Thats even worse.

The japanese are sexist, racist and xenophobic, at the best of times (you dont get a language that has more than 6 words for foreigner without being so). It reflects in a lot of anime they do.

I did notice a bit of sexist undertones in Bleach especially considering the size of most of their boobs...took the piss. but meh, i couldnt really care less, they are crap imo...

In all honesty, the big three are only popular because Japanese boys love lots of fighting in their Shounen anime. The main problem for me at least is their plots. They just aren't good. When they try to do Drama it isn't very good either. In fact, when they try to do anything it isn't good.

Well compared to Bleach being somewhere like 49% filler and Naruto being somewhere around 38% filler, One Piece doesn't really have much of any filler when you note it's less than 9% filler.
