Despite the name of the deck it's actually got a lot more uses and can really hold it's own against plenty of Dark themed decks. I made this specifically just to pick on Iki since at the time his #1 deck was Blackwings and Renzourin was scared shitless of the deck, lol. Seriously Ren refuses to duel it citing that it's way too over-powered. Anyhow within my tests this deck held up fairly well and always was able to hold back the Blackwings. So if you have a friend or plan to duel someone using a Dark-based deck such as Blackwings then try this deck on for size against them. It's sure to surprise them.

It's got plenty of spells and traps to stop their effects, banish their cards out of play, and even monster effects to do so. For power the the deck relies on the high powered attack level 4 monsters with a couple single tribute monsters. For speed there is the Malefic Cyber End Dragon. Simply have to have it in your hand then you can banish the regular Cyber End Dragon from your Extra Deck to Special Summon the Malefic. Of course it needs a field Spell card to remain on the field that's why Malefic World is in there. As an added bonus the field Spell card allows you to select the Malefic monster from your deck and add it to your hand (well it says choose 3 and have your opponent pick, but that is a moot point when they are all the same). However your trap Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror will also negate it's effect which will keep it from being destroyed if the field Spell isn't out there, as well as allow your other monsters to attack.

The side deck shouldn't be needed, but I added it just so you could add more of the same card if you find your self needing it in a match.

I've always loved the Armed Dragon cards ever since I saw Chazz play them in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX to the point that I built a deck based on them. This recipe here is based on the old recipe I made years ago with the cards I actually really do own. However I have made some changes to it here. For one thing I've moved REBD and REBC to the Side Deck and made room for the Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon which is stronger and far more easier to bring out. Not to mention it's great ability to allow the Special Summon of up to LV5 of Armed Dragon from either your hand or Grave (can't do LV7 because of it's effect that states it cannot be Special Summoned except by LV5). You can use Level Up! to quickly upgrade it to LV7 if needed. Level Modulation will also let you Special Summon LV7 from the grave and The Graveyard in the Fourth Dimension will let you get them back out of the graveyard to re-use them later.

This deck may or may not hold up against the newer style of play with Synchros and XYZ monsters, but it's a fun deck to play around with. Test it out and let me know how it does.

armed dragon deck looks good but, have you treyd 3 red eyes darknes metal dragons and 3 Red-Eyes Wyvern, future fusion to dumb some of them and bring out five headed dragon then use wyvern eff to sp summon red eyes darknes metal dragon from the grave. Or maybe I'm just thinking of the hopeless dragon build.

I could probably make room for them. Trade out a Twin-Headed Behemoth and an Element Dragon for the two additional Wyvern's. A Mirage Dragon for the last REDMD and the Swords of Revealing Light for the Future Fusion. It would help modernize the deck, but I feel it would greatly change the main focus of the deck. That and well there is already 8 monsters that require a tribute or other means to summon, so adding another would make it 9 out of 25. That's rather high when I normally try to stay around 4-6.

The deck was meant to be centered around the Armed Dragons and I added the two REDMD's for quicker power and to help bring back LV5 and such. The main deck I currently use focuses on REDMD and the ability to summon 5-Headed Dragon and I feel that it'd be too similar. I'll think about editing the recipe, after all it would add additional power. Anyone who uses it would likely want to do so.

yeah, I sometimes get too caried away with editing a deck that I end up changing the whole strategy of it and making a newer deck because of it.

personally I don't know how effective an armed dragon deck can be until I try it out myself and so far I've only tested machinas and dragunitys. plus I'm looking to build a Jurrac and a fabled deck aswell just because of how cool the art work is for both of them.

You actually POSTED the Anti-Blackwing Deck!?

Great, now I may as well just throw this out the window.

LOL Iki. Well Blackwings is one of those decks I know have power, but I just can't use it correctly so I dislike it, and it's really a pain to duel that type of deck. So wanted to make a deck and post it to the public to take the deck down a few notches.

I'll be posting other Recipes I feel like posting when I get around to it. Probably won't post my main two or three decks though.

do you want my brother's six sam recipe?

Six-Sam is a lot less powerful now that it's main Synchro and Spell card is limited. However your Brother already helped me modify my Six-Samurai deck I had built. Now it's pretty similar. I'll be posting my Six-Sam recipe soon.

During the test this deck held up fairly nicely. If you start off with a decent hand you can practically OTK your opponent.

This deck has several ways of bringing Blue-Eyes from the Deck to your hand and then Special Summoning him. As well as ways to discard him and Special Summon him from the Grave. You Can use Future Fusion then use Dragon's Mirror to bring out two BEUD, then turn around and use Burial from a Different Dimension to use another Dragon's Mirror and summon the 3rd BEUD. You can use De-Fusion after attacking to bring back the three original BEWD (if they are in the Grave) and attack with all three of them for a OTK.

Tried to limit the deck to 20/20 but just couldn't decide what to remove to add the two Solemn's I felt it really needed. When I first put the deck together I had a lot of other strategies for bringing the BEWD out but ultimately decided to cut it down to this. I felt this was the quickest method. The Side Deck is fairly pointless, but I left it as just to show what other styles could be implemented but to do so you'll likely need more than one of each of those cards, but for those who want to customize the recipe that would be a good start.

3 | Wind-Up Zenmaister

Originally had built this deck a bit different. It was a 50 card build with some different monsters and some other helpful spell and traps. However with the play style these days it's all about making do with as least amount of cards as possible so you can get your best cards out quickly while the rest is just fodder to help do so. Unlike the old days where your whole deck had to have balanced strength to be of much use. So I cut out some cards and switched some out to help benefit the smaller amount. Didn't have too much room for traps though so it's a little on the light side since we needed so many Spells. With the new banlist though it's not like traps/spells will stick around on the field very long anyways.

If used correctly this deck has alot of potential to be very powerful. Power Bond Cyber End Dragon to double his attack then use Limiter Removal to double his attack again for a total of 16,000 attack points. Can pretty much OTK if given the right setup. Several of the monsters can be treated as Cyber Dragon when on the field or in the grave which can really help out when it comes to fusions.

Blasting Ruin FTK

Monsters

3 | Thunder Dragon

3 | Broww, Huntsman of Dark World

3 | Royal Magical Library

Spells

2 | Broken Bambo Sword

2 | Cup of Ace

1 | Card Destruction

3 | Dark World Dealings

3 | Golden Bamboo Sword

3 | Hand Destruction

3 | Into the Void

3 | Magical Mallet

1 | Reload

3 | Toon Table of Contents

1 | Toon World

3 | Upstart Goblin

Traps

1 | Blasting the Ruins

1 | Life Equalizer

1 | Wall of Revealing Light

I admit this one isn't an original recipe. It's also not your typical style either. This deck is more to just make your opponent go o.O .... O.O ..... WTF!

The whole deck relies on drawing Royal Magical Library then spamming all the spell cards, all the while you continue to draw thanks to RML's effect on top of the Spell cards effects of drawing and such. The goal? Get at least 30 cards in your grave, have your opponent gain LP from at least one Upstart Goblin, and have all three traps set on the field.

If you managed to do that, which isn't hard if you happened to draw Royal Magical Library from the start then you can win the duel before your opponent even has a chance to go.

On your opponents draw phase activate Wall of Revealing Light to make your LP go down to be more than a 8000 LP difference than your opponent. Then activate Life Equalizer to make both you and your opponents LP at 3000. Once it's resolved and it goes to their standby phase you activate Blasting the Ruins and win the game.

2 | Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode

1 | Dragunity Arma Leyvaten

2 | Dragunity Arma Mystletainn

1 | Dragunity Militum

3 | Dragunity Dux

3 | Dragunity Legionnaire

3 | Dragunity Aklys

2 | Dragunity Darkspear

3 | Dragunity Phalanx

Spells (12)

1 | Book of Moon

1 | Assualt Teleport

2 | Cards of Consonance

1 | Dark Hole

3 | Dragon Ravine

1 | Future Fusion

1 | Heavy Storm

1 | Monster Reborn

1 | Mystical Space Typhoon

Traps (8)

2 | Dark Bribe

1 | Mirror Force

1 | Solemn Judgment

1 | Solemn Warning

1 | Torrential Tribute

2 | Assualt Mode Activate

Extra (15)

1 | Trident Dragion

3 | Stardust Dragon

1 | Dragunity Knight - Barcha

1 | Dragunity Knight - Trident

1 | Dragunity Knight - Gae Dearg

1 | Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier

1 | Dragunity Knight - Gae Bulg

3 | Dragunity Knight - Vajrayana

1 | Magical Andriod

1 | Ally of Justice Catastor

1 | Five-Headed Dragon

When I first made this deck I didn't have a clue how Dragunity monsters worked and thus was playing them wrong. I finally went up against a duelist who used them and I figured out I was going about them all wrong so I overhauled the deck and decided to give it another go. These Dragunity monsters have excellent potential in Synchro summoning Stardust Dragon pretty much every turn by simply having one monster card in your hand.

The main combo of the deck is to have Phalanyx in the grave (which can be done with Cards of Consonance or Dragon Ravine). With him in the grave you can use Dragon Ravine's effect to add Dux from your deck to your hand if you don't already have him there. Summon him to the field and use Dux' effect to equip Phalanyx from the grave to Dux. Then use Phalanyx's ability to Special Summon it to the field. Tune the two and Synchro Summon Vajrayana. Use it's effect to one again bring Phalanyx from the grave and equip it. Then use Phalanyx effect to Special Summon itself. Tune the two monsters to Synchro Summon Stardust Dragon. If you have an Assault Mode Activate trap set on the field you can activate it to tribute Stardust Dragon and Special Summon Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode from your deck.

You can continue to bring Dux from deck with Dragon Ravine and repeat using the same Phalanyx in your grave every turn.

Though that means the deck isn't that versatile and it has a major weakness. If your opponent keeps Dragon Ravine off the field then the deck has to rely on manually drawing Dux which pushes it into having to try other things which don't work as well or quickly.

Exodia Control

Monsters (19)

1 | Exodia the Forbidden One

1 | Right Arm of the Forbidden One

1 | Left Arm of the Forbidden One

1 | Right Leg of the Forbidden One

1 | Left Leg of the Forbidden One

3 | Emissary of the Afterlife

1 | Sangan

1 | Marshmallon

1 | Vortex Trooper

3 | Battle Fader

3 | Swift Scarecrow

2 | Effect Veiler

Spells (16)

3 | Dark Eruption

3 | Gold Sarcophagus

3 | Momentary Truce

1 | Pot of Avarice

3 | Pot of Duality

3 | Upstart Goblin

Traps (5)

3 | Hope for Escape

2 | Time Machine

Extra (3)

3 | Number 56: Goldrat

Pretty self explanatory. It's an Exodia deck. The whole strategy is trying to add all 5 parts to your hand and make sure the parts stay there while you try.

Use Gold Sarcophagus to get a part on your 2nd standby phase. You can get three parts this way if you luck out and get the three Gold Sarcophagus cards. Other ways is to summon Emissary of the Afterlife and Sangan and either attack an opponents monster that is stronger to suicide the card or wait until your opponent attacks it. Use it's effect and then use Time Machine to put it right back on the field to use it's effect again.

The rest of your spells/traps help to draw cards or bring discarded parts of Exodia back to your hand. The Extra Deck probably won't ever see use, but it's there just in case you happen to have three of your one stars out on the field. The XYZ monster will allow you to draw cards by it's effect.

This deck is somewhat a play on the multiple decks of Jack Atlus from the Anime and from the Video Games. I originally had plans for it to go a bit different but had to cut it to this to keep the 40 card limit. Haven't had much of a chance to test it but on the duel I did do it did fairly well. I summoned Red Dragon Archfiend on first turn, and on second turn was able to bring out Red Nova Dragon and Brionac. Obviously this deck is focused on getting Red Nova out as quickly as possible or at least Red Dragon if nothing else. It uses various cards such as Power Giant and Resonator Call to set the play for using Red Nova Carpet to be able to Synchro into Red Nova.

If you can think of any changes that would benefit this deck please let me know.

Also if anyone has a request for a deck they'd like me to build let me know! I love making new decks so just give a theme you want and I'll whip something up.

eXremeBeatdown

Monsters (20)

3 | Beat King Barbaros

3 | Fusilier Dragon, The Dual-Mode Beast

3 | Goblin Attack Force

2 | Lightning Vortex

Traps (13)

2 | Call of the Haunted

3 | Skill Drain

3 | Final Attack Orders

3 | Light of Intervention

1 | Rising Energy

1 | Trap Jammer

Looking at the name of the deck and the main cards it should be obvious what this decks strategy is based on. It focuses on Skill Drain so you can summon Beast King and Fusilier without tributes without having to cut their attack power. Light of Intervention is to keep the opponent from setting monsters face down and kills the effects of flip-effect monsters. You combo Light of Intervention with Final Attack Orders to ensure EVERY monster they summon ends up in face-up attack so you can hit them quick and hard with your brute strength. At the same time Final Attack Orders helps keep your 4 star monsters from being switched to defense mode if you don't already have Skill Drain out on the field.
