Influx of Spam!

My gawd what has happened? I come online today and over 130 new spam registers and tons of spam advertisements all over the forum. I've been cleaning it up and banning them..

Seems we need to update the security against spam bots.

Anyone know of any good mods for vBulletin to prevent them or at least help against them?

This probably wont help much, but users must now verify themselves via email after registering.

To clean up the member list etc.. I've deleted all users with 0 posts.. which also removed all spam accounts.

Member Count went from 900+ to only 358.

I've been deleting threads and banning users like crazy.. it's getting close to 400 users and each day more and more join.

This is getting out of control and nothing seems to stop them..

I can't always be here to check up and keep it clean so we need more staff! Cloud, Sasuke, would you two like to help and be staff?

I've now implemented a simple Security Question to prevent bot registers..

Hopefully it works and people can still register.
