I think it's a good show. In fact, it's one of the few American cartoons that I'm willing to watch these days. Practically all the American cartoons I watch these days are comedies like Family Guy, Futurama, Archer, and Venture Bros.

I have been a fan of Star Wars pretty much my whole life. As for this particular cartoon. Its good, and honestly pretty funny at times. Though that is the very reason I don't really like it much. I know that sounds silly, but Star Wars was not meant to be funny in that way.

I got sick of SW as a whole by the time episode 3 was out and wished it would just end for good as they continue to churn out comics, games, novels plus the clone wars tv series. There must still be some part of me that is still fond of it though as i still like the old films and did like some of the action scenes of the prequel trilogy.

Now about the clone wars. When i first saw what it was going to look like i did not like it but was told that it was actually decent. After catching a few episodes i thought the fights were fast paced and the action more intense then the movies. Some storylines were silly and not important while others concentrated on characters both important in the films and those not used so much. Bringing back Darth Maul was a great choice too. I have mainly seen seasons 3 to 5 so did not catch it from the start even though i can get hold of it all any time. There is to be a new CG Star Wars series coming soon. I think it will be in the time line between episode 3 and 4.
