G Bass
Capcom releases a lot re-releases this gen (Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition, Super Street Fighter IV, SSF IV Arcade Edition, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom). What's your opinion on them? Like em? Dislike em?
DrumRoll
depends on the content to cost ratio.I don't want to pay through the nose simply because the word 'gold,' 'platinum' or 'ultra super delux fantastic' when all I get is a few new maps. mintymilk
capcom is milking their products for as long as it can and it seems to me like i've been cheated; when they charge you $60 for a game you expect something complete. paying for costume colors or extra characters is silly. i really dislike it capcom - stop it!! :r
Narutosocool
Capcom does cheat sometimes...They shouldn't make us pay obnoxious amounts unless they add, something like 10-15 characters in a game (arcade version) , or a new plot line+improved gameplay in the 3D rpgs.Anyone know when DMC5 will be announced? lemmingllama
Its a waste of money. Some companies do these but rerelease a group of games as a pack, making it worth the money. One remastered game for $60 isnt worth it
reinokid
Not a fan of it; but from a business standpoint it's fine if it adds stuff the fans wanted. Ultimately if someone a re-release is a waste that person wont buy the game or will at least wait until its cheap. That's what I do anyway. Dude888
They will be releasing Devil May Cry 1, 2 and 3 on Xbox 360 and PS3 in an HD recollection.I might get my hands on that and Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 since I only rented the "original" one
ZeroPenguins
DMC 1-3?? What? Lol man now I'm gonna grab that. I own the PS2 version of it and has always been one of my favorite games.
MABFanForLife
I know the 20 bucks I spent on my HD Resident Evil 4 was TOTALLY worth it! Only flaw it had was that the Seperate Ways cutscenes weren't HD.
Rhyotidae
eh, cant exactly beat the classics, but def worth playing

I spent alot of coins, quarters on the arcade game Capcom vs Marvel, if they're going to milk it for more least they can do is change it up and include more things. WhiteFalconZ
Capcom has now become more of a money whore. I was expecting an Ultimate/Super version for when I got MvC3, but in less than 6 months, they announced the Ultimate version, which pisses me off, along with a lot of other people who bought it for full price. The most pissed people would be those that got like the collector's edition.Anyways, I dont plan on buying any Capcom games any time soon nor in the future as they are always, as of now, going to pull an 'improved' version of the game, like Ultimate Ultra Super (Insert any future titles) versions. gamio
I LOVE CAPCOM BUT THEY DO RELEASE A LOT OF UPDATES TO THERE GAMES , REMEMBER HOW MANY STREET FIGHTER2 VERSIONS THEY RELEASED BEFORE WE SAW PART 3. i JUST HOLD OFF , SINCE I KNOW A NEW VERSION WILL COME OUT AT A CHEAPER PRICE. ninjahpiggeh
Capacom make some of the best games, but they do tend to exploit the awesomeness a bit much. I liked the gold version of RE5, but hated the fact my PS3 registered it as a completely new game, making past awards/game progress obsolete from the regular RE5. Jabberwolk
kinda sucks for me I just got Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and then they announce a new version and you can't update the old to get all the new stuff. The new players look fun but I'm not going to buy a second game just for them.
