It's a Slice anime that was originally at 12 episodes long but got renewed for a second season of 12 episodes.It's about this kid who loves playing SIM Dating games and is a "God" in the gaming world and then gets contacted by this "demon"/"angel" girl to help her capture the hearts of real-live girls, who the kid despises. My favorite thing about anime is that so much of actually has an ending. Deadman seems like it could go about 24 episodes or so (I know nothing of the manga).One thing that bugs me is that "carnival corpse" always gets translated as "corpse carnival." I know that's more grammatically correct but I figured more people would get the Cannibal Corpse reference. Just listen to the music whenever they show the arena! Then again, you'd be happy too if the favorite part of your favorite series got animated well. I feel so bad for Genkaku though. It's not his fault he ended up the way he did. If those boys hadn't preyed on him like that, he'd have ended up a good guy instead of the final boss of the first arc. But what he did to land himself in there in the first place was entirely justified, even if it turned him into a lunatic.Fangirlish babbling aside, I definitely see DMWL getting a second season, especially because it's going to et a dub now. I just hope they hold off on the merch :|@Dan: The reason why it was so hated was because people overhyped it. I'm not going to lie, I hyped it too. It seriously is my favorite series ever, so it was kind of hard not to hype about it. In some ways, it did meet my expectations, but in other ways, it didn't. Either way, I'm still going to say that the end was satifactory, since it ended right before the beginning of the second arc of the manga. idl12 Posted July 6, 2011 Report Share Posted July 6, 2011 Well, I'll admit that the fact that Ganta turned into a total pussy in the last few episodes and had to beg the person who's ass HE KICKED FIRST to help him out was a big let down, hell even Minastsuki(hot even with short hair) had to save his ass, the transition from badass to weakling just didn't sit well with me, plus the fact that no one noticed that the tape exploded when Shiro tossed it in the conveniently located furnace was a big facepalm moment for me as well. Also a small part of me wishes that the guards got to have just a little bit more fun with Karako in episode 11 lol. But it was still one of the most interesting shows I've seen. However even the manga is still on-going I think. Thus it seems like this could go on for at least an additional two seasons at least, just needs time for the manga to get done.
