I think the best rpg battle system then any other rpg games. And any one know if they be making Star ocean 5? I hope it's not true though. I own the game, but I just haven't had the time to play it. The only one I've played was Till the End of Time and it was great. I played the second one's psx version on the computer and now plan to get Second Evolution for the PSP. I have and beat SO3 on the PS2. The only thing I need to do in that is beat Freya, as well as Universe mode and 4D mode. I also have the PS3 version of 4 (the international release) and beat it. I am currently in the Wandering Dungeon in Galaxy Mode and on Roak going into the Purgatorium in Universe Mode. I have liked all of the games. SO4 is also a good prequel, in my opinion. A;sp, they already announced that 4 was going to be the last one made before Japan even got it for the X360. By the time they finished SO3, all they wanted to do with the series then was to show how the UP3 was developed. Once that was done, they were done with the series. As far as I know most people have played 4 on the 360 wich is a condenced version. It wasn't bad but fell short of expectaions. As far as I know the real version only came out for the PS3 in japan. idl12 Posted April 16, 2011 Report Share Posted April 16, 2011 I've only finished till the end of the time and I loved it, that blue haired girl(Maria I think it was) and Nel were too hot for me not to enjoy it, I started playing the Snes version of the first game a while ago, but Since there's a psp remake of it, I've decided to play that instead. I thought about getting IV, but a friend told me not to bother.Many people say that 4 is bad, but I have played through the whole PS3 version, and I didn't think it was nearly as bad as people were saying it was. It is also a bit more difficult, but can sometimes be easier, than SO3, gameplay-wise. The story was about the same quality is SO3 (NOT a lot worse, like many people claim).
