God I love that anime.Also that bit in Avatar:TLA when there are all those firebenders on those airships in the last few eps and they're burning....ahh well don't want to spoil it for anyone. It was vary exciting to see them do the final battle with the Vajra, showcasing three Macross class ships and a vary potant boss.
