Anooxy
Finally in Japan PSP sells more than DS. Actually it's 95,000 vs. 80,000.MAIN REASON? All thanks to Crisis Core. Seems like our Final Fantasy games have still the power to do THESE things.I'm really surprised. what will happen when Square-Enix games will be released at PS3? What about a new FFVII Remake? It's going to be interesting.
Carley Jay
LOL i read on youtube, people posting things like "once ff7 remake is released on the ps3 the consol wars will be over as there will be only one winner" lmao, it would be nice to see a ff7 remake, and funny to see how much sales in ps3 goes up, I'm a fan of the DS and PSP since I own both, but I'll always go for the playstation
Anooxy
Final Fantasy vs. XBox 360 vs. WiiWho will be the winner lol?
Koby
I kind of figured it would eventually. But hey DS still has all the other older FF remakes. Haha. I'm planning on eventually getting the DS, or well considering it for the FF remakes pretty much. Probably wont though because I'm broke enough as it is and there is alot of other things that I need my money for, such as hosting bills for this forum, a new monitor (as this one is going out), etc.. Anooxy
Well, PSP is more advanced than DS and Final Fantasy games are better there. I suppose Square-Enix is looking to make other games on PSP after such a good release.
Carley Jay
Well they are making final fantasy dissidia for the psp, and I heard rumours that they were remaking ff7 for the psp =/ but that's probably aload of baffle, sony still charge alot for the psp though and the new limited edition crisis core psp i've seen being sold for 180£/363$
Anooxy
More news: While the old PSP is dropping sales the new SLIM version now has surpassed 300,000 since two weeks ago (WOW). 250,000 were only PSP slim and 75,000 are PSP slim bundled with FFVII: Crisis Core.Square-Enix! Stop deciding sales xD lol.
Guest wweii
I actually chose the PSP because I liked the display size better. The screen is larger on the PSP. Although I will probably get the DS once Revenant Wings comes out.
Sean Eats Airplane
PSP has Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, which is a must have. As for DS, I'm not a fan of handheld rpg's and they have the FF Titles, but I'm not interested.
Adidaas
Wow, it's incrediable how one game can make so many fanboys put out 200 bucks, or whatever the price is in Yen, for a handheld. All this over FF7, once again anger rushing in. The Psp is still pretty much doomed, seeing as how there really isn't that many great games coming out soon while the DS is still getting a lot of love. If I were to get a Psp it's gotta be for the Portable Ops baby, Big Boss online, freaking awesome.
Koby
I want the DS for the remakes of the FF's.. however I have the old ones, so I don't care to fork out that amount of money for a game I already have. =P So I'll wait till prices drop on them. Until then, I'll spend my money on other stuff, and save the rest for a Playstation 3.
Whiplash
I got a DS rather than a PSP; cheaper and there are other non-FF games out for it that are good. Plus when it comes to handhelds I've been Nintendo's bitch since 1998.
Kukuk
I love PSP. So few mini games (unlike a certain gimmicky handheld). The great thing about PSP is... It has enough power in it to have graphics better than Nintendo 64, and is able to run some console games, even if a bit scaled back.Thats the main thing about PSP that I love: Console style games. Ronin
Not overly surprising really, what I am surprised about though is that it didn't sell more.
Adidaas
I did, and I don't know, didn't really see that much games that were really worth picking up, maybe like 4 or 5, but eh.
