Anooxy
XP is still the most used. Vista just offers DX10. I don't want to change only for that. You can always buy consoles to play games.

† shinji
Vista is too much of a price for me to upgrade to play DX10 games.I've currently got an 8500GT ... which is one of the crappest DX10 enabled cards available. In order to get smooth gameplay, i'd need an 8600GTS or 8800GT both which are very pricey ,, along with a, possibly, new motherboard due to the fact that this motherboard cannot overclock the CPU much...also the PCI-E slot is only 4x (i'm pretty sure). So it wouldn't be getting the max performance out of an 8800GT or 8600GTS..So t hat'd be a few hundred dollars in upgrading my pc.. .and the purchasing Vista (legit so i can get SP1 when it comes out) which is another few hundred in Aus. And im a uni student working part time to cover my bills, travelling expenses, etc. Hence, it is not something i can afford at the time...
