Kyo Posted August 22, 2007 Report Share Posted August 22, 2007 anyone seen this anime. its pretty awesome. plenty of gore, boobs and killing without having the crap storyline of some kinda weird hentai like "tentacal high" or something. its basically about a boy who gets killed and put in a game where he has to hunt aliens down. i'll not spoil too much but its worth the watch or read. I like the art, but excessive mindless gore tends to be pretty...well, boring. Might just check it out 'cause you reccomended it. Kyo Posted August 22, 2007 Author Report Share Posted August 22, 2007 yeah theres kinda an on-going joke throughout the anime that they all look like cosplayers lol. It's pretty morbid. It's not really mindless goreits more situational. It doesn't gloss over bad things. the characters have pretty messed up domestic life and on top of that they are being forced out to fight aliens that can crush their skulls in the palms of their hands and such forth. thing is all the characters have died in some way or form and then been..kinda like copied and pasted back to life by Gantz. so you get to see some pretty brutal stuff. For example Gantz doesn't pick strong people to do this, he just picks whoever. there have been an old woman and her little grandson been put on the field in skin-suits before. its pretty brutal and more than a little upsetting. very sad story, and more than a little twisted. The anime was really crazy, ridicuously violent, ridiculous amount useless of nudity which pretty much all equals to one badass show. Once the anime passed the Buddah mission though they went off on their own story from the manga and made a really gay ending.
