Alegend1994
996,919Yep that's what I do. Also I didn't think of it but using the word Virus isn't the best idea if you are giving out digital files, I actually haven't used any of them yet but I have it bookmarked incase I want to get something dual audio.Yeah coalgirls do mostly bloated files which are good if you want to download and burn to a blu-ray disc because it keeps the great quality, Evangelion was like 12GB for the first movie. lemmingllama
996,917But thats really big. A standard 720p movie shouldnt be more than 1.5gb. At least in my opinion
jobonline20
996,916..........its good i didn't visit coalgirls, i don't have space to store even if i download.
Alegend1994
996,915Yeah but most blu-ray movies are about 20GB when you rip them. I actually like the idea because it means that if you want a series in BD quality but there's only a dual-audio dvd release then you can just download the Japanese BD release and then add the english audio then burn to a BD. lemmingllama
996,913That does work, only problem is that the lips will be off. It sounds minor, but its actually really annoying if you watch it like that. Plus sometimes the sound will be off too, and that split second can make an episode unbearable

Alegend1994
996,912Yep I know what you mean. First I've gotta get a BD RW drive then I'll have to get good at audio syncing then it'll be perfect. Eureka Seven, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Clannad: After Story are the examples of Japanese BD releases but only English DVD releases. The cost for the Japanese anime are just crazy, After Story is ¥46,508 ($606.39) which is just stupid who would seriously pay this much for anime. lemmingllama
996,911Apparently some japanese. Plus its probably cheaper if you just pick it up there rather than having it shipped
Alegend1994
996,910Yeah I guess it's just a different culture so they just accept the price, the P&P can't be that much.
jobonline20
996,909......anime soooooooooooooo costly........... that too in dollars, if its converted to rupees i'll have pull off a bank heist everyday to buy anime.
Alegend1994
996,908Yep I could buy a TV and blu-ray player to play it on for the same price. The problem is it probably means that less people get anime but it's made up for it by charging more while in western countries more people own anime and pay less so it's like an equilibrium, with one draw back less people in Japan enjoy anime =(. jobonline20
996,903...........sorry local english, i actually meant the capacity of the disc. how much can you fit into it, like you have blu-ray r/w and you write into blu-ray disc, how much can you fit into it
lemmingllama
996,902Just looked it up. 25gb per layer, normally 2 layers per disk. So 50gb per disk on average, though you can get quadruple layer disks!!!
Alegend1994
996,901I'm a HD addict and quadruple layer, I want it. I'll use them for permanent back ups for my videos so I can only use one HDD, can fit tons of DVD and BD quality videos on a 100GB BD.
