The world is full of lies and secrets. The smile a person shows, a laugh, even a look is a lie. Everyone wears a mask.

She stood on the edge of building starring out at the night. The wind flew tendrils of her hair out into the night sky, as her eyes search the nearby streets.

Another night...Still no sign of him....Will he ever come? She sighed silently.

The noise of the corridor first thing in the morning was like a jet plane, you coul hardly hear yourself think let alone hear a single voice. She walked with her head down an her coat hiding as much of her body as possible.

SMACK!

She bounced back onto the floor with a groan, as she looked up. Her eyes meet with forest green.

"I'm sorry...I didn't see you...Are you okay?" The voice soft, concerned and very male as she moved her vision back to take in the face. The dark hair softly framing his smooth face, his nose slightly of centre as if it had been broken and not set right, and those eyes. Those dark green eyes.

"I'm fine, it's my own fault not looking where I'm going." Ignoring his hand he offered to help, she slowly got to her feet. Taking a long deep breath.

The bell rang for first class. "I'm sorry I ran into you!" The girl shouted back as she ran towards her class.

"No...It was a pleasure," he whispered as he moved off in the opposite direction.

The girl was walking through the parking lot. Her mind had not been able to rid herself of the image of the young green eyed man from earlier. Huddling into her leather jacket, she moved through the gates. Most of the other students had left already, but she waited before leaving.

"Hello! Hey girl!" She hear from behind her before hearing the heavy footsteps. Turning slowly she met those green eyes.

"Hello again."

"Hi...Erm I was thinking of getting some coffee. Would you care to join me? It's the least I can do after trying to mow you down earlier."

"Thanks but no. I have somewhere to be, but maybe another time...erm?"

"Izzy, my name is Izzy." He smiles gently at her.

"See you around Izzy," she smile but it did not reach her eyes.

"Hey! You never said yours!"

"Blaze." She never turned her head just carried on walking.
