Narrowed down my potential watchlist and I'm still at 14 series... when I'm usually more like 1-4 series. Sequels: Bofuri S2 DanMachi S4P2 In/Spectre S2 Misfit Demon King S2 Trigun Stampede Vinland Saga S2 Based on Video Games I Like: NieR:Automata Ver. 1.1a The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel - Northern War New Series Potentially Watching: Giant Beasts of Ars Handyman Saitou in Another World Kaina of the Great Snow Sea Malevolent Spirits: Mononogatari Revenger The Fire Hunter Giant Beasts of Ars seems like it's trying hard to be an AoT clone, but it's an anime-original series with Kaihou Norimitsu writing and animated by Asahi Production. Revenger is the latest anime-original show by the infamous Urobuchi Gen. It's a samurai/ninja thriller with Fujimori Masaya pulling director duty. Kaina of the Great Snow Sea synopsis is very intriguing and it's got Tsutomu Nihei collaborating on the show. However it is Polygon Pictures and thus their typical CGI, which turns some people off. I'm going to give it a chance though. The Fire Hunter is another worth mentioning in my opinion. Gives me Ghibli vibes, especially with Ogura Hiromasa being the art director. He worked on Spirited Away and Arrietty among others.
