Koby
Steam listing is up. It's a separate entry from the Vanilla version... and it's listed for $39.99 https://store.steampowered.com/app/1295510/DRAGON_QUEST_XI_S_Echoes_of_an_Elusive_Age__Definitive_Edition/ People are already pretty pissed off about the announcement, because apparently rather than bringing back the original assets to the game, Square-Enix took the lazy way out and is basically just porting the graphically lower Switch version to PC... So you're losing out quality wise. Here is a comparison: https://slow.pics/c/D5Wlpnrx Here is the thread discussing it on Twitter:

Kid Ryan
@Koby@Ashven288@Xykan How has the PS4 port been for you three? Are the graphical downgrades notable enough to be distracting?

Are the graphical downgrades notable enough to be distracting? Didn't play the PS4 version of the Definitive Edition. I did play the OG version on PS4 though. I played the Definitive on PC. Graphical downgrades are definitely pretty notable in a side by side comparison. However playing the game on it's own, you might never know the difference unless you're really looking for it.
