The latest episode of the Pokémon Sun & Moon anime series revealed more details on Sunday for the new anime series in the Pokémon franchise, titled Pocket Monster. The title is the same title as the original 1997 Pokémon television anime series.

ONhHf5Z.jpgThe new series will feature two protagonists: Ash and the new character Gō. Gō's partner Pokémon is the starter Pokémon Scorbunny from the upcoming Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield games. Daiki Yamashita will voice the character Gō. Gō is 10 years old, and his dream is to capture all Pokémon.

The new anime will premiere on TV Tokyo and its affiliates on November 17 at 5:30 p.m. as an "expanded live broadcast special." The series will then air on Sundays at 6:00 p.m., the same timeslot as Pokémon Sun & Moon.

The tagline on the below visual reads: "Dreams and adventure! To the world of Pokémon! Let's go!"

Daiki Tomiyasu (Pokémon Sun & Moon) is serving as chief director of the anime at OLM, and Maki Odaira (Pokémon Sun & Moon episode director) is directing the series. Kunihiko Yuyama is the creative supervisor, Shoji Yonemura is in charge of series construction, and Shūhei Yasuda is the character designer. Yuki Hayashi is composing the music, and Masafumi Mima is the sound director. Scriptwriters include: Reiko Yoshida, Shoji Yonemura, Deko Akao, Jun'ichi Fujisaku, Michihiro Tsuchiya, Touko Machida, Yuka Miyata, Aya Matsui, Atsuhiro Tomioka, and Akemi Omode, among others.

The new series will feature all of the regions covered in the franchise so far, from the Kanto to the Galar region.

The Pokémon Sun & Moon anime series premiered on TV Tokyo and its affiliated stations in Japan in November 2016.

The show, under the title Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon, premiered in the United States on Disney XD in May 2017. Although the show is known under just one title in Japan, its U.S. airings have several titles. Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon—Ultra Adventures premiered on Disney XD in March 2018, and Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon—Ultra Legends premiered on Disney XD on March 23.

The Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield Nintendo Switch role-playing games will ship worldwide for the Switch on November 15. The games will take place in the new Galar region.

FYI... I never actually said I wanted a reboot. I just said it pointed to that due to how they had Ash finally win a league. Because there would be absolutely no reason for them to do that if that's not what they were planning on doing.

Either way it sounds interesting honestly and the art is much better than the S/M Yo Kai Watch ripoff atrocity. There is potential to finally FINISH THAT HO-OH STORYLINE THEY WERE DOING AT THE BEGINNING OF THE SERIES. Right... like they'll do that... 😑

Well we'll see how this is either way I guess.
