Koby Posted June 28, 2018 Report Share Posted June 28, 2018 The official website for the anime franchise based on Natsume Akatsuki's KONOSUBA (Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku o! or KonoSuba – God’s blessing on this wonderful world!!) light novel series revealed on Monday that the franchise is getting an anime film. Voice actors Jun Fukushima and Rie Takahashi had announced on a radio program in July 2017 that a new anime project had been green-lit. Takaomi Kanasaki is returning from the previous two anime seasons to direct the film at J.C. Staff (Studio DEEN animated the two TV anime series). Makoto Uezu is returning to write the scripts, Koichi Kikuta is returning to adapt Kurone Mishima's original character designs for animation, and Masato Kōda is returning to compose the music. The returning cast includes: Jun Fukushima as Kazuma Sora Amamiya as Aqua Rie Takahashi as Megumin Ai Kayano as Darkness Yui Horie as Wiz Aki Toyosaki as Yunyun The original light novels center on Kazuma, a shut-in student who dies in a traffic accident, but meets the goddess Aqua after death. He is given the chance to reincarnate in a fantasy world and can keep one thing with him. When he decides to choose Aqua herself, they are both transported to their new lives. The pair go on quests to earn just enough to buy food, shelter, and clothing, and eventually hire the sorceress Megumin and swordswoman Darkness, who they quickly learn are just as useless as they are. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
