Hello, this may be a long introduction, boring too probably.

I used to go to the cartoon world forums a long time ago, I don't know what's been going on with it in the mean time or who even runs it anymore for that matter, though that doesn't matter. I was curious if the place was still alive so I google searched it and after looking at the site it led me to these forums, I wonder if it's the same place really, though looking at the admins tells me that it must be. It's nice to see that anime websites/forums still thrive even to this day honestly and I can say I kind of miss the days I would hop on the net and browse this forum in particular (well you know what I mean), it was fun. Anyways, moving on, I've chosen to go with a new username, I don't know why really, I just felt like it I guess.  There really isn't a reason I should use my old one other than displaying my old "art" and not being called a thief, but I haven't decided if I want to post those anyways.  A little exposition, I used to be active in the graphics part of the forum back then, though I haven't done anything photoshop related in quite some time and I am very rusty, couldn't even tell you if I'll get back into it. Though I have made a new signature really quickly just for the purpose of not looking naked (though I don't know how to put up a new avatar or signature, I think I need to post more before I'm allowed to). 

I can't promise I'll become active again, but at this point I feel like I want to, be social at least. So we'll see what happens from now on.

 

I don't really know what else to say at this point, maybe if people comment on this thread I could think of more things to say, I encourage it.  Oh, tags are a new thing to me for posts, they sound like a pretty sweet idea too.

Anyways, we'll see what happens from this point on.

EDIT: After making a post I've noticed that I can upload an avatar, still don't know how to do the signature thing, though when I do I won't make an update about it, it'll just be apparent.

Learning things, updating information

Good oh cartoonworld, I was on there as well. One of the best forums I been to, from what I know there servers or something went down and they lost everything. So they kinda gave up on it and made a blog where they have some stuff but now it's about dead considering I just looked on it and the last thing they posted was 2015. I also was on anime passion but that's bout dead as well. Now I'm on here, don't know if there's other forums but kametsu is awesome.

C-W didn't lose anything; they just opted to shutdown because the forum was fairly inactive when it came to users actually posting. So they directed people here. The admins still have a backup of the C-W database though. But yeah, that was over two years ago now. =P All the C-W staff hang out in the IRC channel. As for the C-W release group, it's died, as the only user who still encodes under C-W is Sakura himself, but I don't think he updates the blog as you've mentioned.

Oh I see, thought I read that they lost data or something. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
