Hello everyone. I go by Cosmic Fury, a pen name I've been using for some four years now.

 

I actually came by this place at random. I was actually looking for animes to add to my slowly-growing collection when I stumbled upon this place. To be honest, I'm stunned by the detail and activity in this place -- I don't often find a like-minded community like this, never mind by chance. I hope to stick around at least for a while, and get to know you guys better should I be able to stick to my guns and visit often.

 

I'm in the Navy, as some of you might inevitably find out anyway, so my activity is probably going to be as skittish as I am on some days. However, I rarely let that deter me from getting to know a potentially good bunch of folks like yourselves. I look forward to getting to know you guys!

 

As for hobbies, I'm a coin and book collector of sorts. While I don't purchase any often, I certainly do appreciate the historic value everything I look at or buy holds. One of my favorite books is a rare edition written by Harriet Beecher Stowe in 1868, detailing most of the leaders of the Civil War Era, as well as other contemporary figures of the time. The book was only published once, and only given to those who had subscribed to her writings, thus making this work of literature a much harder item to find. I stumbled on it a few weeks ago, at a rather beaten-up copy in a random bookstore, of all places! I currently hold onto the book, until the day I can have a professional (that I don't know squat about) restore the book for me, to its original glory.

 

My other main hobbies are playing Pokémon and Minecraft, as well as watching animes that have been catching my interest. There are a lot out there, and I have to say with honesty that I can't play favorites with them... yet. Above those though is my passion for writing. Although I keep getting writer's block like a recurring plague, I'm certain I can churn out a story worth remembering some day!

 

Well, I suppose that's enough about me. I can't wait to hear from the rest of you guys!

Members hardly visit the SeeD Hallway, so yeah you might not get much response.

Even if it is quiet around these parts as you mention, I can at least settle down for a while here. I am going on deployment in only a few short months, but I'll not let that deter me from having a good time here before then.
