Help Putting Watermark Into .MP4 Video

I was wondering how would I put a 60 second Watermark at the start of mp4 video.

First of all, why 60 seconds?? Thats an eternity. Second, are you wanting the watermark displayed first for 60 seconds and then the video plays (i.e. video plays 60 seconds later)? Or the video plays with the watermark displayed in it for 60 seconds?

You have two options:

1. Create a subtitle file with your 'watermark'. Easy to remove by end user.

2. Re-encode the video, using Avisynth to add your logo. Very hard to remove, and is guaranteed to be displayed.

What program are you using to create you mp4?

If it's an MP4 video and you want to keep it that way, you might as well burn in the Watermark, if it was MKV though, you could do what Johnflower said and make a Watermark in the Subtitle File

Create a subtitle file.If you want the watermark in the corner,the middle, different color text or font then use a .ass or .ssa or some other subtitle file that allows for stylized subs.A program as simple as subresync will allow you to do that,This is an example.I did a srt subtitle file first and then used subresynce to create a .ssa subfile file.
