One person makes a banner at a resolution of(using mine here) 1336x160. Then there's another banner made with dimensions 1600x160. You're trying to suggest that the forum picks up your resolution and only display the banners that fit. Even if it did work that way, that would be too much work. Hence the default 1600x160.
