Hey all,

 

You can probably guess by the location of this post that I am new here!

 

I'll try to follow the template but I can't say I have answers for all of the questions, 

anyway, here goes:

 

How did you find Kametsu?

- I was looking browsing around looking for Black Butler (the third season is airing so I wanted to check out the previous seasons to see if it's something I'd enjoy, and stumbled upon this site. It looked interesting so I thought I'd register and give it a go.

 

What do you think of the place so far?

-It's well laid out, and seems to have a lot of content. But I've just scratched the surface, more time will give me a better indication. So far so good though...

 

How active are you planning on being?

-No clue about this one

 

What are your top five anime?

-A very tough question, I'm inclined to say One Piece, but I feel like the pacing issues are ruining it for me as of late. Luckily there is OnePace to rectify that

I really liked Gundam Unicorn, that's got to be one on my favourites, along with Code Geass, and Death Note.

Sword Art Online was really good initially but failed to pay off near the end. I was really disappointed by the horrendous pacing nearer to the end of the Aincrad arc. Bakemonogatari (and the monogatari series) are really enjoyable because I like that sort of series and I enjoy Shaft's style, it makes the show really odd and it really adds to the atmosphere. I'm really enjoying Nisekoi's manga (although at the moment I feel like it's dragging on a bit) but what Shaft brought enhanced the already great first portion of manga in a really unexpected way. I loved Tiger and Bunny, just because it was unique and funny. The world god only knows was another favorite, I was slightly disappointed with the ending of the last arc though, the story had so much more potential. Silver Spoon Was a series that I didn't expect to get so much enjoyment out of, but did. The ending song always came in at the perfect time, giving the maximum effect! I'm hoping for season 3!! And of course, I feel like I have to mention Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, as it's staring me down from my shelf (It's an amazing series, and a very popular one). Attack on Titan?! Hell yes! Another series that I need a Season 2 of!

 

I could go on - as I'm writing, I keep remembering other series - but I'm sure this post is already becoming too long.

 

Top five video games?

I'll keep it short this time

-Final Fantasy 8

-Assassin's Creed II and Brotherhood (Ezio was awesome)

-Uncharted (Series)

-Batman Arkham (Series)

-Gotta Love Mario Kart - Such a chilled out game that can easily become intense!

 

What other hobbies do you have?

-Love TV shows, anything, not limited to anime.

-Not sure what this means, but I'm terrible at drawing so I guess: nope

Other than that, thanks if you made it all the way to the end, I hope that reading this didn't bore you too much If you disagree with any of my top anime, or would like to recommend any, feel free, I'm open to any type of anime / TV show. If you have any questions, feel free to ask

 

In terms of Anime this season, I'm looking forward to watching Tokyo ESP, but I'm hesitant; when I tried to read the manga on my computer around a year ago, my computer broke (the file was virus free of course); after it was repaired, I tried again (with a re-downloaded, once again virus free, version), then it froze. I'm sure it's just a coincidence... Nothing strange going on there...

Yeah Kametsu encoded Black Butler season one and two along with all the ova's those two seasons had. Unfortunately the encoder who did Black Butler has past away from a brain tumor. As for future plans to encode the new season three; if we were to do it, it wouldn't happen till the dub came out by FUNimation. However I doubt we'll do it. Reason being is Black Butler isn't my cup of tea. I still haven't watched any other episodes of it either. That's not to say another encoder of the group won't pick it up, but I myself won't. Though currently our actual encode team basically consists of only me since like I pointed out: one of our encoders past away, and the other two have gone mia. I'm currently in the process of trying to hire more peeps but most don't meet my standards.

 

Anyhow enjoy our Black Butler encoders and welcome to the community that is Kametsu.

 

The main anime series I'm looking forward to this season is Terror in Tokyo. Though there are some other interesting shows.

Oh my, I'm sorry to hear about that

Although, I was just wondering what the series was like, who knows if I'll get to 3rd season.

I hope you can find people that meet your standards

Terror in Tokyo does look interesting, I like Shinichiro Watanabe's work so I'm hoping it will be good.
