hotdogsmuggler
I've never used iTunes before. I was curious if there is anything I should keep in mind when purchasing videos? I did buy a few things from Xbox Video before and they've disappeared since then - can't even redownload from my history. Should I be concerned about anyhting in iTunes like that? Also, let's say I backup every purchase on external hdd's and it's ten years later and iTunes no longer exist or the internet is no longer available. Would the DRM in the files make them useless at that point? I know it's a stretch but I like to think about the worse case scenario and plan for it before I invest a lot of money. † Valdearg
I never support giving money to iTunes or Apple. But if you can't find the videos that you want anywhere else then go for it. I would recommend just removing the DRM from the videos first, then you aren't tied into relying on Apple to not be stupid.

slick1109
You may have to run itunes 10 and the program requiem Is this still the only method available? I thought it was only good for Movies and TV Shows, and wont do other purchases like books and movies. Is that true? Also .... I realize this is off topic, but is there anything out there that works similarly for Movies from Google Sync or Amazon Instant Video? I know Aimersoft has a DRM remover and Video Converter but it seems to require you to convert the video as well, as apposed to simply removing the DRM. I mean, if I really wanted to convert/encode the video than I would use something better like MeGUI. Edited March 24, 2014 by slick1109
