Sleepy

Have you ever felt sleepy, and went to go lay down but then found yourself wide awake, yet sleepy still? I have and I hate it; I'm not sleep deprived (I don't think), I;m not having hallucinations nor do I feel fatigued physically, so I don't know what is wrong. So do tell if you have had any similar experiences...

I don't go to bed unless I feel I am tired enough. There are times I do go to bed when I am tired, but I just can't fall asleep. If I can't fall asleep after fifteen to twenty minutes, I get up for another half of an hour and go do something, come back, and try again.

Only if I try to go to bed early. I end up lying there until the time I regularly pass out and then fall asleep.

I only fall asleep when I get bored or Stressed, but this only happens if i'm laying on my bed or a sofa!

I have effed up sleeping patterns. Sometimes I sleep 14 hours... when I dont have to work.

And sometimes I wont sleep for like 40 hours.

I do the same thing.. where I am very sleepy; yawn, eyes dropping, feel the need to lie down, but when I do I just can't actually go to sleep.

It annoys me because the only time I can go to sleep quite fast is when I'm in class, I always feel so sleepy in there, yet to comes to bedtime and I can happily be online for ages.
