  1. 1. Which PC/Laptop processor is the best? Not just currently but from the beginning

  2. 2. Which PC/Laptop GPU is the best?

    • AMD (ATI)
    • Nvidia
    • Intel Graphics(this is whispered meekly)
  3. 3. Which mobile processor is the best?

I've always used Intel, and its never failed me.  As far as GPU goes...Nvidia is amazing and I always go for it.  I'm getting a new Nvidia GPU at the beginning of the new year, right now I'm on Intel graphics because I couldn't afford the GPU when my computer was built at the beginning of the year.

ARM should not be on that list. All the companies except Intel and possibly MediaTek (never heard of them) buy a license to produce the CPU design from ARM and put their own spin on it before selling. ARM will not make the CPU themselves.

Also hard to choose when they're all about equal in the non-mobile questions ;)

GPU side, I say screw nVidia. So many driver issues and nvidia doesn't want to fix. Go for AMD, since console games will be optimised for AMD GPUs from the start and therefore those optimisations should follow when they port to PC.

I regret buying my nVidia Geforce GTX 680 card, total piece of crap. Should've went with the AMD Radeon HD 7950 or 7970 at the time.

Edit:

I don't give two sh*ts about mobile GPUs or CPUs at the moment. I got a MSI GE70 gaming laptop and it's damn fine.

theres just no beating x86 even if you have an ARM cpu that's more powerful x86 has all the better software. who wants android when you can use full ubuntu or some other linux distro or even windows. thanks to the umpc/slatepc era even windows xp has touch support and linux has since v8.10. the only problem has been battery life which has been adderssed with intel's current line of atom cpus and it's only going to get better when they launch 14nm cpu's next year. even arm will have a hard time competing since they will only have 16nm. but the real race starts in 2017/18 thats when we may see a shift from silicone to graphine and hit die sizes below 1nm.

Personally i go for the underdog. Especially when i believe Intel was monopolizing unfairly i the eu. But damn the way amd is now with its heads parachuting how long can amd last? I hope they stick around. Gotta an amd 64 running win 7 at home runs laggy but still kicking. I mean taking in consideration the price you pay for one it's a great deal.

Well I've only ever had intel CPU's in my computers, because for what I do (gaming) they really are the best, for power consumption on laptops I also believe they are the best.

As for graphics I believe it's pretty much tied atm, I voted for ATI though because that's what I have.

I'd also like you to change ATI to AMD(ATI) in graphics, the name changed officially for AMD a while ago.

I voted Mediatek cos I have one in my phone :D They are the ones making cheap CPU's for (chinese) mobile phones, they work really well though, especially for the price they come at (have 16500 antutu score with a 720p screen, pretty decent for a phone I paid 130€ including shipping from China).
