ChoeyXD
Do anybody know a media player that play 10bit videos? ;p
lemmingllama
Media Player Classic - Home Cinema is best. You can also use VLC, but it sometimes breaks when playing 10 bit stuff
ZeroPenguins
I should add, MPC-HC is not that good without the proper filters and renderers. Something like CCCP is suffice for most users.

Something like CCCP is suffice for most users.Rather, VLC is good for most people, as they are inexperienced when it comes to renderers/filters. That is why so many use it, even though it is not a good video player. That said, anyone who can read should be able to install and configure CCCP with MPC-HC. Hell, even install the codecs and renderers manually. There are plenty of tutorials around.
ZeroPenguins
There isn't really any configuring for CCCP. Apart from the setup screen where it asks you for some stuff such as audio output channels. Just install and run. Use mplayer2 if you need something simple like VLC or use Linux and if you want 10bit support. Personally, I still use FFDshow filters with MADVR/CoreAVC and xy-vsfilter for subs on MPC-HC. Works fine for me. Edited August 24, 2013 by Ang3lofDarkness
jurjito
I also use MP-HC X64 and CCCP rather than vlc because with VLC some videos get stuck and you can only hear the audio, etc.

Stick with 32bit for your playback/filtering (Avisynth) needs.
ZeroPenguins
^Yeah this has been debated over many times, there isn't any benefits using 64bit MPC-HC at the moment.
parata
MPC+CCCP (multi-purpose player) and I'm not using Mad-Vr for now since its likely not supporting ATI AVIVO ---use EVR custom Press instead
