hey i would like to know your thoughts on this Sig bear in mind I'm new to Photoshop and graphics in general.

Me personally I find the signature a tad to bright and yellow. I find it really hard to break the signature down and see what has really been done to it. The signature could work if it was used as a background to another render or if you were to add another part to the signature. It is a nice try and I do encourage playing around with different ways of making signature and a mono colour scheme is a good way to make some signature, you just need to define the picture/render a bit more so it's not just the colour that stands out.

I played around with curves as you suggested and this is how it turned out. Thoughts?

There's not much contrast with the render itself in relation to the background. It really just fades in. Maybe putting the render again with multiply, soft light, screen, or another mode for the layer would make it come out a little more?

What you want to avoid is making the image look flat, so be careful when adding colour filters as you do not want to take too much away from the depth of your image.
