matidiaolo
I have spent some hours watching Monster - at first I felt good, since main char was not a 15y old kid at school, scenario was cool. Then, after watching about 30 episodes, I feel a little worn out. Same deal over and over again, with the good doc saving the world wherever he goes, doing good deeds. To be honest, I dont feel the urge to watch the next episode when one ends - unlike other series when I would stay awake to watch some more! The plot is very shallow and slow and the atmosphere is not that overwhelming in order to make up for the lack of action.Does it change dramatically, towards the better, so that it's worth watching? lemmingllama
Not really. After the first arc, its really just the same thing over and over with little changes inbetween. So if you really didnt some of the other arcs, then you will just be bored if you watch the others. Its a show that people appreciate if they can focus on it for that long. Anyways, even the ending isnt worth it...
coffeeNiK
I confess I've heard so many good things about this anime and have never watched a single episode. I should start looking for it.
osborn_2009
honestly i really liked this anime. it was more like a "Real" show to me than a traditional anime
saminyt
Yup, I loved the Anime as well. It was very realistic like reading a thriller book. But I have to agree with lemming, if u got bored after first 30 eps, u probably won't like it.
sqrt1764
I though all the little stories going on in the middle episodes were interesting. There is always a sense of mystery that kept me watching till the end.
DamnGood
its slow no doubt but its unique. something that really deserves to be called "DRAMA". suberb story.

apb1161
Definitely worth it. Watching 70+ subbed episodes was slow going though.

alivetonight
Im on ep 57 and I haven't felt bored or sick of it yet, but I get the feeling that by the end of it that I'll think that it could have been shorter
megagold5
I thought it was quite good throughout. I will grant you that it does get a bit slow occassionally, but it does manage to pull itself right back up again usually.
ruekk
its very slow, and there is a lot of repetition in the story but it is worth it in the end.
