Anon316 Posted April 14, 2012 Report Share Posted April 14, 2012 Just wondering to those who have played the Dynasty Warriors series over the years... or at least 3 titles, a couple of questions...First Dynasty Warriors Title played?Played the Dynasty Warriors 3 demo once at friends house.. and liked it, then I bought Dynasty Warriors 4 Xtreme Legends when it was still new.Which Dynasty Warriors Titles have you played?PS2= Dynasty Warriors 2, 3, 3XL, 4, 4XL, 4Empires, 5, 5XL, 5Empires, 6SpecialPS3= Dynasty Warriors 6PSP= Dynasty Warriors, Dynasty Warriors Vol. 2Which is your favourite Dynasty Warriors Title?Dynasty Warriors 4!!! It had the best graphics on the PS2, the best music, one on one duels, and some of the best character designs... a few where better than the ones in 5 and 6.Favourite Dynasty Warriors Character?Zhao Yun!!! his character design overall (long hair down and tiger outfit), plus the fact that I love spear users in this game, his dashing move was good for getting you out of sticky situations, while also clearling crowds at the same time, and I also think 4 had the best Zhao Yun Design out of the PS2 versions, until they gave him armour in 6 and 7 (still think that was also cool, though)Although originally when I first played 4XL, it was Ma Chao, but that was mainly due to his desgin, and that was back when I didn't know much about the game.. although Ma Chao is now my second favourite.Favourite Dynasty Warriors Character of Each Clan?SHU= Zhao Yun All the wayWU= Lu Meng from 2 up until 5 empiresWEI= Dian Wei in 2, can't remember who in 3? Cao Ren in 4, and Cao Pi in 5JIN= Havent played 7 yetOTHERS= I liked Yuan Shao and Lu Bu from 2 to 5 Empires, then Lubu solo in 6Favourite Dynasty Clan and Why?SHU; for starters, two of my favourite characters are in the SHU Clan, Zhao Yun and Ma Chao. Second of all I prefered Liu Bei's virtuous nature, over Cao Cao and Cao Pi's seemingly evil nature, and Sun Jian and Sun Ce died too early, and I wasent really a fan of Sun Quan, and like I stated earlier, I havent platyed 7, so I can't judge the Jin Clan and most people in OTHERS were selfish... Although I own Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 3 for the PS3 I have yet to play it. Otherwise, honestly the 3rd game would probably be my favorite followed by the 5th. I just prefered the version of Zhou Yu (or however you spell it) in the 3rd one over the fifth.Favourite Dynasty Warriors Character?Zhou Yu. Red robes and an Elder Sword? BAD ASS. I could combo like crazy and his Musou worked great in hordes of enemies. I just liked everything about him in the 3rd game. He was still good in the 5th, but he was really toned down and his combos were changed. :'(Favourite Dynasty Warriors Character of Each Clan?SHU= Zhao Yun, probably, can't really remember anyone else as it's been a while.WU= Zhou YuWEI= Can't rememberJIN= Havent played 7 yetOTHERS= Lu BuFavourite Dynasty Clan and Why?Wu, because I just really enjoy Zhou Yu as a character, and the story of Sun Ce and Zhou Yu as best friends just seemed really well pieced together. I remember he was dressed in all red in Dynasty Warriors 3, then in 4 and 5 they changed it to Red and white. (There wasn't much difference in Design between 2 and 3 for most characters)I also remember thinking that Zhao Yun and Zhou Yu were brothers that were in different clans, in dynasty warriors 3, as they looked like the spitting image of each other, just with different costumes.. bearing in mind that all the characters looked younger in dynasty warriors 3.Zhao Yunhttp://kongming.net/i/?game=dw3&path=/i/portraits/ℑ=zhaoyun.jpg&width=592&height=470Zhou Yuhttp://kongming.net/i/?game=dw3&path=/i/portraits/ℑ=zhouyu.jpg&width=592&height=470Even their names look and sound similar...Though I do believe that Zhou Yu's fighting style was at its best in Dynasty Warriors 6 with the renbu system and pole, as when maxed, he was quick and covered all areas, I saw my friend get a really high score in survival mode doing this. But 6 really stood out to me for some reason. I just remember having an absolute blast with it.Favorite Character: Either Xiahou Dun or Guan Yu. I just always loved the concept of fighting for the cause of another. Played Romance of the 3 Kingdoms (SNES strategy game based on the same chars).Fav: 4 I think was the one where you could make a custom char. I just remember the gameplay being solid.Fav Char: Sun Ce is almost always one of the first characters I play and max. Like the sarcastic attitude as well as he plays. Zhang Liao is the next person I'll tunnel towards unlocking.
