I tried starting it a couple of times actually because people raved about it soooo much. When I actually did buckle down and read it though... blew my mind. I love it. The biggest selling point for me is the nakama theme. I've always been a big sentimental sob about the whole "friendship/bond/mates" thing. It's the same reason why I like Fairy Tails and all the other major mangas with the nakama theme. It's a good theme. Anyways yeah. One Piece - first thoughts: why is the art so funny looking?
