† Ferocia Coutura
So, I just finished watching the movie Bridge to Terabithia, the 2007 version. I will admit I cried. And this is the fifth time I watch it.I love the book and the movie. I love the magic and the message behind it, that your imagination is powerful and that friendship transcends life.So I wonder, what are other people's thoughts on the movie as well as the book? savedgray
Read the book in third grade, it was sad but didn't make me cry. Then watched the movie ten years later, and I got all weepy. Wonder how that happened. But yes, both are wonderful.
Xanodus
Well aren't I a fail, I didn't know the book even existed until now... lol.I really loved the movie, I believe it was trying to show people that you can always dream up anything, and it's your world, and everyone has a wild imagination. It was such a happy/ and sad movie though. I got all weepy when:When the girl (I think her name was Lesley) died! That was something I didn't expect. I was very saddened by the event. I did not expect it at all, after they had swung along that rope so many times. Both their imaginations were wild, and it was a beautiful scene where he squeezed out all the paints into the river for her :'). The ending was also ok, with him and his sister.Overall a great movie <
