VLC 2.x.x Released

One thing I've noticed is I can't go to 400% volume. The new maximum is 200%.

I've also noticed this issue. I checked their forum and found this thread. The 200% does seem louder in 2.0 then it was in 1.1.xx, but I don't believe it's the same as 1.1.xx's 400%.

@Rinkwolf, I think mpc-hc is displaying the subs because they are set as default. Some muxers like the one that comes with MeGUI will set the first added sub track to default.

However, MPC always turns on the subtitle.

Again, you're doing it wrong, or that's how the file was encoded.

MPC is much more stiff and VLC is much more flexiable

LOL, quite the opposite. MPC is so flexible many codec makers implement the player into their packs.

VLC on the other hand will ONLY work with it's own internal broken/outdated codecs.

you have had bad experience with VLC and now don't use it

Nope. Never really used VLC to be able to 'now not use it'. I tried installing it once just to see the fail everyone was talking about. Uninstalled it a few minutes later when I noticed the quality loss it renders and the bugs. VLC is the Internet Explorer of video players. Only the n00bs too ignorant to install FireFox use it, and it renders everything how it 'thinks' it should be instead of 'how it was made to be'. You can upgrade shit to 2.0 but it's still nothing more than slightly improved shit, which means it's still only shit.

I'm not going to argue though as it's clear you value your own opinions higher than evidence.
