A rapidshare question

hey everyone

Im just wondering what everyone thinks since im going to start uploading to help with the Downloads section get back on its feet.

Anyway to the question:

I was wondering if Rapidshare is still good with only a free account since the file/s are deleted within 30 days if no one downloads said file/s, should I not worry about this and upload to Rapidshare anyway?

Im asking this because at the moment I am uploading to refile.net and it seems it would be better to upload to Rapidshare first then use the remote uploader for refile.net (as well as having multiple links for the community)

Has anybody had any experience with Rapidshare and uploads with a free account? Advice?

Well easy solution is to mirror your uploads on several different hosts. That way if one gets deleted or taken down, you still have the others to fall back on. As you mentioned some hosts have remote uploading as well which means you can easily replace links to those hosts by using the links from the other host.

Thanks Koby

this might be a bit of a noob question as well, but what are the chances of me being caught donig this?

I mean this sounds stupid to me just asking it (since I know their are plenty of people who upload stuff all the time)

I have RAR'd all files im uploading and renamed the rar container to random letters (except at the end where I have 01,02 etc indicating the episode) so when you unrar them you get the proper name etc.

It is very simple for the FBI or whoever to find out who you are if you upload files. However they haven't gone after any uploaders to cyberlockers. Yet. If the cyberlocker is based outside of the US, and has no servers in the US you are much safer.
