[Solved] Uploading rules?

I don't know if it has been posted before but I searched to see if there were any threads like this. Looks like it is okay to ask.

Anyways I was talking in a thread about Elfen lied (http://forums.kametsu.com/showthread.php?t=9394&highlight=elfen+lied) and I noticed that the manga is not available for download in these forums/ site.

I have it on my harddrive and was thinking about uploading it.

Any rules that I have to follow? Will I get 'punished' for posting someones scans? or must i credit the scanner? ....sooooo confused.

You dont need to credit them, though it would be nice to say it. There is a thread that you should read before posting downloads though.

Crediting is very much preferred if possible. We use to not really care, but we now prefer to give credit where it's due. Usually list it under the information bit and tag the group/user in the topic title (usually their initials).

Other than that, just be sure to post an image, some info such as synopsis, etc.. and the download links of course. Be sure to include the filehost in the topic title such as [MU] [FS], etc.. Check other topics if you need some pointers.

Thank you! I tried searching for it and couldn't find that thread.. lol maybe the tags or words I used didn't match up.

Cool beans, Thanks I will see what I can do... And if I feel up to it after uploading Elfen lied maybe I can upload some other manga like Kingdom Hearts (since the manga is a b*tch to find)

One Piece series (and others) I want to share but I have a confusion, when will I be able to upload and share the links with http://forums.kametsu.com/ n friends legally. I have files I want to share but is it ok or I should buy an anime DVD then share. What if I share the files I download via torrent or other sources? Can I share these?

You can do it however you prefer, but it'd likely be easier to do per volume for the ones released and then chapters for the ones that haven't been done yet on longer series.

You can share from the moment you joined the community forum. You can upload your own work or you can upload files other people have done (though it's common courtesy to give credit where it's due as mentioned above).
