beenbadder
Never played any of the Elder Scrolls or Fable games so it would have to be Dragon Age for me.
kurohime
I have never played fable, so that one is out.The elder scrolls series is one of the best i have ever played. Skyrim has a high vote from me, even with all of the glitches and bugs.Dragon age Origins was awesome. Number two wasnt as good. Right now the elder scrolls: skyrim is my favorite game. ToxicGod
I like how you forgot about the fallout series but I voted skyrim because I love medieval games but fable is to easy of a game for me.
† Anras Rune
fallout aint up here cause it aint relevant. The three up there are fantasy Rpgs really, fallout is a different genre. Now, down to my opinions...TES: Very large scale gaming with a very open ended combat system, albeit a bit glitchy and repetitive at times, with a very well explored storyline and an amount of detail that almost makes me want to cry (I ish detail whore!). Skyrim and morrowind being my favorite so far.DA: I have to agree with idl that Origins and Awakening are the only games in the series for me. The gameplay could get lacking but Origin' storyline is epic, the difficulty of the game is awesome and the tactical nature of combat harks back to the RPGs of old. Dragon Age 2 fails on a broad spectrum, but the combat was...."fun" in some senses...Fable: A series that often gets left out. I love fable 1 and 2 (3 was a pretty big disappointment imo) due to the more relaxed nature of the game, more fairytale than drinking hall epic. But the more lighthearted gameplay and simple systems give me a break from the über serious nature of the other two. Ntm 2 player is fun, a bit unweildly but fun.Alas, the moment of choosing....I'd have to say the difficulty and tactical nature of DA wins out, although Bioware better fix the mess they made with DA 2, like they fixed ME3.... tigerwarrior61
Elder Scrolls is my fav out of the three, i really liked dragon age origins, not so much the second, i loved fable, however, the series failed after that.

highguy
original xbox game vs. fable 3 and dragon age, elder scrolls III: morrowind still cleans their clocks! For me dragon age 2 was just a huge disappointment (first one was better), and fable (all 3) must be the easiest full production quality, full priced adventure RPG ever made! sireragon15
Elder scrolls for me! It is the best as it constantly delivers good games. I have played elder scrolls since morrowind and loved it. Oblivion was not on the same level as morrowind but still decent. Skyrim is above it and one of the best games of the holidays if not last year.Dragon age origins was an awesome game. I loved it and spent many 10s of hours playing it. the console adaptations of it were barely the same game, but still enjoyable to an extent. the second built on the idea of the console versions and made the consoles much more enjoyable, but the lack of choice in the game was a huge fault for me. couple that with repeating maps, a vastly different art style, and a story that never seemed to hit its climax made the game nowhere near the level that origins was on. they series hinges on if and how they do a third installment. I am rooting for it to succeed if for nothing else it is a bioware game and i love their work (so far...).Fable is a hard game to judge due in no small part to the fact i have only played the first. I really did enjoy it, though have hit a wall in the series due to the fact that the company decided to only release the second on 360. I dont have a 360 and my bro's controllers never seem to work right. I still dont see what the company was thinking when they released the first on the xbox and pc, then release the second as a true xbox exclusive, then release the third on xbox and pc again. I like the series, but the company has made it difficult for me to really get into.

Hanma_The_King
OK I'm, probably going to be hated but who cares (not I)Elder scrolls DESTROYS Fable or Dragon Age (I have yet to play DA 2 or Fable 3) all that being said based on what I've played of the games Dragon Age you have a (useless) party of meat bags that follow you and either get in the way or seal your XP >< (again have not played 2, it may have improved...)Fable(I'll compare this to the Elder Scrolls of it's time: Morrowind) OK Morrowind is my FAVORITE xbox classic game. Really though you could beat Fable in one good sitting Morrowind took six months (talk about bang for your buck...) and before I could completely uncover the map my xbox would freeze(great game... not on xbox play PC HUGE difference...)then compare Fable II with oh i donno Oblivion... Fable II has guns... wait... no more good news? Generic magic and tedious and monotonous quests and possible the LAMEST "attire" for your person... disappointing. Although I have not played Fable III I don't care...LAST COMPARISON (I promise)Morrowind Oblvion AND Skrim have gotten Game of the Year in their respective years of release NONE of the other franchises have even come close... 'nough said....May you RPG in peace...
