Can anyone recommend an LGA1155 Liquid CPU Cooler?

Hey, Kametsu,

Can someone recommend for me a liquid CPU cooler much like the one in the following link?

I have an air cooler picked out, but its HUGE and I would much prefer a liquid system. If you do know of a good one it must be

1) LGA 1155 Compatible (I'm gonna be using an Intel Core i7 2600K)

2) Must be as few components as possible (I like the one in that video because its basically just two components)

3) Easy to install and easy to maintain (again, the one in the video is advertised as not needing any maintenance or refilling, if true, THAT's what I want).

If its necessary for you to know, I'm using the Antec DF-85 Dark Fleet case.

What are you trying to overclock to?

Dunno, never have overclocked before. Basically, its now a question of look and style. I don't want a big fuckin' brick of a heatsink on top of my CPU, would prefer the much smaller liquid coolers. That and liquid coolers are well...cooler. What stopped me before from considering getting one was that I had only heard of the traditional four component system, and I just didn't want to go through all that extra hassle and maintenance.

Actually I can suggest you two awesome aftermarket coolers Sunbeam Core-Contact freezer 120mm CPU Cooler and Sunbeam Tuniq Tower 120 Extreme CPU Cooler. These are extremely affordable and performance coolers. But it'd be a waste if you don't overclock your system. You can check the reviews if you find any.

If you want to go for looks then buy Noctua NH-C14 140mm x 2 SSO CPU Cooler(also a very good performer but not that affordable though).

If you want a liquid cooler that badly then go with Antec Kuhler H20 620.

If you want to read some reviews about after market cooler then http://www.frostytech.com/ is the website for you.

kind of side track but ummm

is it expensive to maintain a liquid cooling system?

Well...not the ones that are in this thread. They're completely closed and there's no need to refill them, so you just install them then completely forget about them. It's the four component systems that are a hassle.

If you're going to go liquid cooling, the corsair H60 is definitely what you want, but that's really only if you're overclocking, and I mean REALLY overclocking. For example, I have my 2600K overclocked (and stable) at ~4.3 Ghz right now, and I have an air cooler! The beauty of lower nanometer processes for transistors is that they put off much less heat, so you can get higher clocks out of them. I can't wait for Ivy Bridge, which is on a 22nm process. Should be able to overclock the crap out of 'em.

By the way, if you want to compare the H60, H80, and H100, check out this article done by AnandTech. Some of the most respected guys in the computer industry...
