salmun Posted October 30, 2011 Report Share Posted October 30, 2011 If Sakura and Granny Chiyo failed to defeat Sasori then Sasori would have been able to meet up with Kabuto in the Tenchi bridge, considering the same thing would happen(Kabuto no longer being controlled by Sasori) Sasori would have to fight with Orochimaru. If this happened who do you think would win, lets say Deidara tagged along too.consider this also, Kabuto tried healing Naruto because he wanted him and the other leaf to get ridd of more of the akatski, is Orochimaru not strong enough to take the akatski out himself. shyguysteve Posted October 30, 2011 Report Share Posted October 30, 2011 the akatsuki not chasing orochimaru was one of the flaws i mentioned on my thread.i'd say in the event orochimaru would fight sasori, that it be pretty much an even fight.i disregard any allied forces like deidara and kabuto.orochimaru doesn't feel physical attacks, neither does sasori.they both have a number of hidden tricks to avoid certain death. (sasori losing to his grandma and sakura is an isolated incident)but sasori has a disadvantage that his heart is pretty easy to spot and target.and orochimarus snake sword can damage almost anything it clashes with. He may be able to handle a couple of them in a one on one fight, but he couldnt pull it off. Now about Orochimaru versus Sasori, I personally think that Orochimaru would kill Sasori unless Deidara was with him. Sasori doesnt have the pure destructive power nessesary to take Orochimaru out. Sasori doesnt have the pure destructive power nessesary to take Orochimaru out.orochimaru never fought itachi, he approached itachi with the intent to steal his body to no avail.itachi used genjutsu to trap orchimaru then proceeded to cut off his left arm.that hardly qualifies as a fight.but no orochimaru cannot defeat the akatsuki on his own. thats just the numbers.
