Live Action Movies, Good Idea or Bad?

I think making anime into live action movies are not a bad idea. Usually, it is terrible because of the acting. But with the special effects nowadays, they can totally pull it off. May be i would say one of the Gundam Wings series might work. Just look at the Transformers. So may be they can do it with Gundam Wings.

It is hard to put so much information in such a small movie. In some they do a good job, but when they don't, they are absolutely horrible. Some are good. As long as they don't Butcher it.

it depends, as long as they dont change the story and actually TRIES to make it close to the original, i think it would be a success. But i think Hollywood is too focused on making it their own that it becomes crap. Akira is going to be awful. For Death Note, they wanted to remove Ryuk and make Light a good guy of the story. Apparently they got their hand on bleach too, so lets see how that one will turn out

its good idea just as kuulaznguy said. as long as they come close to original. i dont know why they always change the plot or add/remove/change characters from the anime or manga.

God, i remember the dragon ball live action. i watch it with my friends and all of us came to one conclusion: 'wtf did we just watch?'
