Code Geass R3??

1) Lelouche didn't die. He's immortal.

2) Code Geass ended just fine. Not really any story to go on with those characters.

3) There is a new 'side-story' anime being made that is set during the events of season 1 with a different cast in a different part of the world.

4) There is a new manga set in the future, and Lelouche apparently will make an appearance, but there is nothing about it getting animated so far.

Hope that answered all your questions. ^.^

WOW!!!! must be my lucky day...... well I've just finished the code geass series and so far that I've researched there will be an R3 about 2 new characters of this series according to this website "http://codegeass.us/season_3.php" and the best part is that its not a rumor. Now about the death of the main character, Lelouch, well theres a probability that he may not be dead and the evidence of this theory is explained on this website "http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080928164917AAwZRRo" which i hope is true......:confuse:

The new season is not R3, there will likely never be an R3. It's simply a side-story with an ALL new cast.

Also Lelouche being alive isn't a rumor or theory, it's a proven fact. The creator's stated as such in an interview finally. He did in fact obtain his father's Code when they touched and as I said before... in that same interview they hinted about Lelouche making an appearance in the new manga set way in the future.

First off thank you for that information,I can tell a few friends who have been bugging me on info about this. =D and if you happen to learn what the manga is called please lemme know =D.

Again Thank you for confirming this for me =D I've always believed in that fact and finding that the creators said as much just makes it better =D.

makes me glad that he didn't die in the end he deserved to live imo =P can't wait to see that manga come out then hope he doesn't look like a hippy though =o XD

I'm new here, so i hope i'm not too noob at this, Code Geass was one of my favorite animes, and R2 ended amazingly, but i want to know is anyone else scared that R3 wont be as good?

I'm not scared considering R3 does not and will not exist. They have no plans to continue from the end of R2.

The new Anime is a side-story and the new manga is set way into the future, both with new cast.

the ending they had was amazing as is, they dont need to add anything else to that in my opinion

A side story. Not a continuation.

I almost wonder how popular a side story would be, though. Lelouch is one of the reasons Code Geass became what it was. Not to say there wouldn't be eager fans watching, but with completely new characters it's almost hard to see it being called "Code Geass".

To be honest I think they could pull of a good side story even if none of the main characters are in it,Personally I don't mind a side story all that much.Just because it won't have the main characters doesn't mean it'll suck and go to a different world,I'm sure they'll put plenty of thought into the Side Story,One thing I loved about the series is that it felt like every episode was well thought out and developed.

I have alot of Faith in the series =D

I'm sure it could be a success. I am only arguing in my personal opinion. The anime was incredible and you're right, there was definitely some serious thought put into it. And hopefully the side story will have as much development and go on long enough for you to become attached to the new characters. You can certainly learn to like/dislike new characters. However, for me, it’s hard to replace the originals with new faces after you spend so much time becoming familiar with the originals and their strengths/weaknesses and varying personalities. If I were to watch the show, it would only be in curiosity to see how well it’s done. But it won't ever be "Code Geass" to me for that will always include Lelouch and the others. And I stress “to me”. But I have no doubt that the Side Story could be a success. =]

I understand =D and everyone has their own thoughts on the series.I think they'll do a good job with the storyline and characters if not they shall get millions of angry fans emailing them xD.

And I agree that its hard to replace the original's in the series personally I'll miss Kallen D: and Lelouch D: and I agree that it wont feel the same without Lulu and the main characters but for me I look forward to any expansion to the Code Geass World ^_^.This is one of the Animes that I love a little too much but as long as there Knightmares and a great storyline I'll love it ^.^

Truly a loyal fan. =] It will most certainly be interesting. I hope as well that it lives up to expectations. Although, can't say I'll miss Kallen all that much~ LOL. I loved her in Part 1, but by the end of part 2 I had enough of her. I'll will for sure miss Suzaku and Lelouch though.

I find that it is good to know that the Code Geass story is continuing and personally I reckon that it is better for the new one to be a side story, as virtually all of the loose ends came together at the end of R2, and as such it would be hard to reopen the story after the ending.
