THIS IS VOLVOKING'S DAUGHTER * THIS OPINION IN NO WAY IS WRITTEN BY HIM, AND SHOULD NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR MY PASSION FOR THIS BAND. ~

Black Veil Brides is my favourite band. I discovered this band in the late 2009, after reading fan fiction and hearing this band mentioned a lot. I decided to look up this band and see what they were about. Honestly I was expecting some glorified pop band with no talent. The first thing that came up was the videos for Knives and Pens, and Perfect Weapon. I had heard great things about this band from people, but after hearing these two songs, I actually was not impressed. It wasn't the typical kind of rock music I was used to. I spent about a month listening to these songs and looking at there other songs, off of the We Stitch These Wounds album and the songs that were not on any of there albums.

I became obsessed with this band, not because the band members were hot, but because of the natural talent they possessed. I believe that music is about talent, and not auto tune.

This band became my life, because of the message they promoted. Their message I think was made for kids like me. I spent most to all of my life as an outcast, and was bullied all of my life. I felt as if this band, and the members in it knew how I was feeling.

Now as a teenage girl I should give my opinion of the band members. Let me start with the only original member left, Andy (Andrew) Biersack. A lot of "fans" only like the band for him, and they are constantly are talking about how hot he is. He is attractive, but his voice is probably the thing I like the most about him. His voice is deep and for the songs that he sings, it makes them that much better.

Jinxx or Jeremy Ferguson is an amazing musician. He plays guitar, like he was born with this talent. That may sound weird to the older people that grew up with rock legends, but in my day and age, good talent is hard to find. Something I love about him, is not his ability to play guitar, but his ability to play violin. I'm a sap for violin, and if it's done right, I love it even more.

Ashley Purdy, is the bassist of the band, and has the look and reputation of a true rocker. But not looking at his reputation for being a man whore, it has been said by other fans that he is actually a really nice guy. But honestly, I like his perverted mind the most. He likes girls, porn and boobs probably more then any man I have ever heard of.

Jake Pitts, is my favourite band member. I love everything that he has done in this band over the time he has been in it. His guitar solos are the best know by fans of this band. They are the reason I love this band so much. Now, not wanting to sound like the average fan girl, but he is so hot. He has a dorky smile and a quiet voice, but that makes him hot I'm my eyes.

Last, we have CC or Christan Coma. He is the drummer of the band and probably the most important person in this band. I like to think of the drummer is the person that keeps the rest of the band in line, musically anyway. They are responsible for the rhythm of the songs and the tempo as well. The beat of the songs are controlled by him. And in CC's case the beat is loud, and the rhythm is excellent. And for me to say this stuff about a man that replaced my favourite female, Sandra, he has to be good.

Now the part of this really long, (i would like to call it an essay ,so i will) essay, I'm going to mention my favourite songs and a brief explanation of why. I'm going to pick 3 songs off of each album.

Off of their first album We Stitch These Wounds, my favourite songs are, Beautiful Remains, The Morticians Daughter, and Sweet Blasphemy.

Beautiful Remains, for me has a meaning in which I can only try to explain. We gather here to sing for you, the words you've written, Each bloodshot beauty still rings true, from violent crashes. Those are the lines that stick with me in this song. My whole life I have been called ugly, and this song to me means that everyone is beautiful and that it doesn't matter what the world says. Now if this is what they were trying to say, I don't know, but I like to think that was what they were trying to say.

The Morticians Daughter, is my favourite love song. I hate love songs, because they remind me of what I don't have, but that's the point of this song. I will wait dear,A patient of eternity, my crush.A universal still, No rust.No dust will ever grow in this frame,One million years I will say your name.I love you more than I can ever scream. I often find myself singing this part to my bestfriend. This is the love song that makes me understand everything. There isn't a giant metaphor, it is plain and simple. If you haven't heard this song, please go listen to it, it is amazing.

Sweet Blasphemy, this is my favourite song that they have written, so finding a part that I love the most, is hard. We are young and we are strong,Through strength in self we become,Something more than they can be,This is our Sweet Blasphemy. This is my favourite line, so much so, that I'm getting this as a tattoo. It reminds me that even though I am a teenager, I have the power to so anything. This song is amazing and a song you people should hear.

Second album, Set the Word on Fire, My favourite songs of this one are, New Religion, Saviour, and Youth & Whiskey.

New Religion, talks about how the outcasts will talk over the world and that we will not live by the rules of the media and society. We are the unholy,We are the bastard sons of your media culture,Our minds, eyes and bodies were born in your exclusion,An illusion you hide behind,You don't love a God,You love your comfort,To you we are filth, we are dirty,So be it,We are dirty and unclean,A congregation of the unseen,Together we will set this world on fire,This is the new religion,AMEN. For this song it explains me and my life. I have blue hair and snake bites, I dress in dark colours and occasionally wear really dark make up. I'm the kind of person that society doesn't like, but that doesn't matter to me.

Saviour, is a song that there wrote about their fans and how they are always there,So here I write my lullaby, to all the lonely ones,Remember as you learn to try to be the one you love,So I can take this pen and teach you how to live,But what is left unsaid, the greatest gift I gave.So hear my voice,Reminds you not to bleed,I am here,Saviour! Will be there,When you are feeling alone, ohhh,A saviour for all that you do,So you live freely without their harm. This Song reminds the fans that we are not alone and that there is always someone that gets you and your life.

Youth and Whiskey, now this one, is just a song that makes me realize, that there are so many things that I could do to hide from my life and the pain in it. These words are burning inside me,Spent years in liquid harmony,This dream is who I wanna be (youth and whiskey),I grew from those who hate me,Stand fast to a razor blade symphony,Cigarettes and lyrics made me (youth and whiskey),Can you see,Can you see me,I'm strong from what they made me,These angels who carry me,They tell me youth and whiskey. I honestly just love this song.

Now I know that I could write more, but I won't. This band is my life, and I love them more then anything. This band and the people in it have given me a different out look on life. I have learned I'm not alone with any of the problems that I have. I wish that soon, I could get to meet them, but until then, I will just continue to write about how much this band means to me. BVB Army for Life <3

I'm going to be brutally honest so don't kill me XD They have a couple good catchy songs but I feel they are way too over-hyped, that their live performance lacks when it comes to Andy's vocal range as well as the way backup seems to be off-key, that their screams are digitally enhanced too much on audio tracks but actually pretty good live, and that most people who think they're the best band in the world only follow them because of their appearance. I feel that the message they try to convey in their music is not demonstrated in their music videos, in fact, it contradicts it.
