Mattymoo
So I recently started my Playstation 2 again, and had an urge to play on Dark Cloud, so I found it on amazon, bought it and I am now enjoying some nostalgic weapon leveling! Anyone else play this game, and what do you think?

Mattymoo
I'm planning on picking up the sequel when I finish this one, I always loved Dark Cloud 2, but my brothers didn't like it because of the weapon Max has lol. Is his name even Max, its been a long time.

darthpokemon
I hated the first Dark Cloud but I love dark cloud 2! Huge improvment in DC2. I hope level 5 makes a DC game for Vita or Ps3

† Apollo
Wow, this brings back memories. Dark Cloud was my first PS2 game, and still one of my favorite games of all time. The best part was the fantastic weapon build-up system.I love Dark Cloud 2 as well, but it doesn't even compare to my love for the original. Ragna
The first Dark Cloud was really interesting back when it came out. To me, it still is. The second one, I couldn't really get into but it's been a while...maybe I should try it again.
forceky
Dark Cloud is really good and honestly haven't really seen another game similar to its concept. Funny thing though is when I first got it I didn't really like it until a few years later when I decided to try it again. Dark Cloud 2 is pretty good but the first just slightly better maybe cause I kinda like Toan from the first game over Max from 2.
Koby
I tried getting into this series, but it just wasn't for me. I found it to be extremely goofy, hard to get started, and just overall not-fun. If I remember correctly you had to actually build everything. Deathzangetsu
Absolutely loved the first Dark Cloud, Never got to play the second one though
† poetictragedy
I've never played the first Dark Cloud, but I used to play DC2 quite frequently. I never beat it though, I think I got bored after a while. Maybe I should pick it up again... It's a good concept, I just don't think I could ever get really into it. It seems like I'd start new games, get to a certain point, then forget about it. Such is the story of my life, haha.
